Can’t comment on the food but what I don’t like is all the food is served on single use paper plates and single use cups. It’s 2024, businesses should be thinking about their impact of waste and the environment. So much garbage produced here that goes to the landfills.

I had such a great time at Govindas. My partner and i went there for lunch. Everything on the buffet was just perfect, and I could really tell there was so much love and thought put into the food. Everyone there was very kind and helpful. Lunch in their backyard felt so good, surrounded by all that positive energy. Can't wait to go back to this beautiful spot. :)Vegetarian options: I really appreciate that everything there was vegetarian or vegan.

Quet, friendly, welcoming. Midest yet excellent buffet. A respite from the big city. I will be back!Map takes you to a locked side of the property. Go around to the east side.
Good vegetarian food, lord shri Krishna's Prasad. Nice clean place, food is sold buffet style and by weight. The menu changes everyday, they had salad, papaddum, rice and daal, shell pasta, several side vegetable dishes - roasted potatoes, eggplant and squash and dessert was fruit and nut halwa.. you can eat indoors or enjoy the amazing garden outside in the vicinity of the 100 year old Wishing tree! It was a great and very serene experience.Vegetarian options: Fully vegetarian food.

Govinda's food is too oily and salty IMO, although it is pretty good from a taste perspective, especially considering they don't use onion or garlic. Some of it is organic, and the lettuce at the salad bar was grown organically in their garden. Although their rotating menu states that Monday is the only 100% vegan day, a staff member tells me they're almost entirely vegan now.
Some of the dishes served there on my recent Monday visit were roasted cauliflower (delicious but quite oily), oily potato cubes (didn't eat), lentil soup (good), tofu with asparagus, and a dessert they called halvah (which I don't really think is halvah, but it was delicious). They also served pappadam for $1.00 a piece. I think the price increased since the last time I was there, because 2 plates with a moderate amount of food cost about $15.00 a piece.
The staff is very friendly and helpful. Also, if you eat outside, you're in beautiful setting with an amazing banyan tree. If you're trying to go SOS-free or at least cut down on oil, this is not the place for you. If you don't mind oil, you'll probably enjoy it here.

This is a small buffet that is very affordable. Everything was vegan and the staff was very nice. They have a small store and a really cool banyan tree out back that is epic.

Amazing vegetarian/satvik food with such a cool breezy atmosphere.Food served as a buffet with many delicious options and was charged at per pound. We tried rice, dal, aloo gobi, soya zucchini, Kofta balls and strawberry halwa. It was very tasty. Also, food was so light that I felt our soul thanked us. ?Will go again. Definitely recommended if you are either in the mood for vegetarian food or want to taste something truly delicious.
