Very disappointing because you expect top quality for the price they charge. There are so many other mochi shops in and around Hawaii that make FRESH mochi and don't charge these prices. And guess what? The product actually tastes great too! Save your money and don't fall for a kitschy name backed by junk products.

The strawberry mochi is the best. All the varieties of mochi were very good. My sister ordered some for our visit to the islands. I look forward to having more in future visits.

I wanted to order favors for my sister-in-law's wedding shower and the place I wanted to order from bailed on me. I saw Happy Hearts on Yelp and remembered that I had it once at a retirement party at Natsunoya. A couple of work friends also said they had ordered from there before, so I gave it a try. Gonna be honest and say I almost gave them less stars because it took a while for them to get back to me and I started panicking. I also tried to call and only voicemail available. But they DID eventually get back to me through email once I left the l message. They even accommodated by letting me order some strawberry mochi without beans. Pick up was super easy and quick. I was very impressed with how nice everything looked and with what care everything was packed. Many of the guests commented on how good the mochi was and asked where I got it from. If I have another special occasion, I'd order from here again.

Did not respond to emails or phone calls about my order. Tried visiting the shop but it is just a pickup area and they had no way of contacting the proprietor. Horrible business model!

Ordered the 18 fresh strawberry red bean mochi as party favors yesterday at a small luncheon at the Natsunoya Tea House. They were packaged nicely, huge, fresh, ready when we wanted them and so delicious!! Happy Hearts Mochi made us very HAPPY!!
