My wife and I shared a kalua pork burger and an order of onion rings.I saw the 5 star reviews and now I understand why.The pork sandwich was topped with what I think was a pickled purple cabbage that added a sweet and tangy crunch to the savory meat.The $9 onion rings, though more expensive than I am used to, we're literally the best that I have ever tasted. They were hot, very crunchy and accompanied by a sauce that had a bit of heat with just a touch of sweetness.I hesitate to give a 5 star review to any restaurant. HI Burger is not a gourmet meal, but among hamburger restaurants it is definitely a cut above and well worth the price.

Fantastic burgers. Made to order. Fresh real ingredients that combined to make the real deal. And they accept card (many places in Waikiki area are cash only). The truffle fries were perfect - didn't even need to dip them in sauce. Both burgers ordered (Bacon Egg burger and Pineapple burger) were delicious. Cute seating area too.
