I came here because of the reviews. The soup, noodles, and ingredients are all top-notch, but why are there pieces of paper in the ramen that shouldn't be there? When I first responded, the waiter said there was no charge for this bowl and offered another bowl. But we later discovered that two other friends’ soy sauce ramen also contained unknown paper, and we were too lazy to report it to the store.

Food is delicious and does not disappoint at all.Consistency is on point as always. Service is so good and very friendly workers and has great customer service. The place is small, not that small but very clean. Until next time, Santouka Ramen, when I'm craving my spicy Ramen and gyoza.

Food is good. A bit salty in my opinion. I could not finish the soup. Service is definitely 5 stars. They kept the place quite neat. Love the environment and the vibe.

Wanted to try this place for a while. It is a quick and go ramen place in my opinion. Server didn't do much so can't say it was either good or bad. The soup was the best/very good. As for everything else, it was alright. The ramen noodles were nothing special. It doesn't hurt to try?

Parking: Don Quijote parking lotIt looks shabby from the outside, but the inside of the restaurant is narrow but clean and has a high ceiling, giving it an open feel.I didn't expect much, but out of all the Japanese ramen I tried in Hawaii, it was the closest to basic and delicious to my taste.I recommend it because it’s not expensive, the portion size is reasonable, and it’s delicious!

I would say this is my fave ramen spot! I love the presentation and their ramen. Why? It has bamboo shoots, the right amount of al dente to their noodles and their broth is amazing. Got their Miso ramen and the hubby got Shoyu tsukemen and we shared an order of the gyoza. Everything was delish! Go right when they open so it won't be busy.

Currently my favorite ramen restaurant! Three reasons for this: (1) the food is really good, (2) it is open late (as of the date of this review, until 10pm), and (3) the convenience (lots of parking, never too long of a wait, and an easy to understand menu). This is a no frills ramen place with only one type of nude in your bowl (no options for udon or other types of noodles). I usually order the Toroniku Miso Ramen. It comes with a miso base, and the pork, green onions, fish cake, and black mushrooms on the side. You add those ingredients to your bowl yourself (good for someone like me who likes to add less green onion than the average bear). I also like the gyoza, and sometimes order the Tantan Men. When ordering the Tantan Men, I get a side of extra char siu because the Men does not include the delicious slices of swine. They also have a few rice bowls, but I haven't been able to skip on a nude opportunity to try the alternative starch (LOL!).The service is always good and the restaurant has a good amount of tables and low bar seats. If you sit at the low bar, you can pretend you are in Japan and watch the chefs prepare the food.

This place was highly recommended by fellow Yelper Michelle W. Service was very quick. Had the Spicy Toroniku Ramen with pork cheek meat. The meat was so soft and tender. The broth had a unique flavor to it which was pleasant. I usually get a garlic tonkatsu type of ramen broth so this was a nice change. We also had an order of gyoza which was ok but the broth, ramen, and pork were the highlights.

Great ramen shop next to Don Quijote in Kaheka that hits the spot if you’re in the area and craving a hot bowl of tasty goodness. The ramen broth is rich and tasty and the bowl is packed with char siu. We started with the gyoza and salmon/ikura bowl. Both very good. we’ll definitely be back again. ????Kid-friendliness: Great for families with kids.

Santouka ramen is a legit Japanese ramen joint from Hokkaido which is in northern Japan. It’s from Asahikawa, they are famous for their ‘shoyu’ ramen. I also like ‘Sapporo’ style ramen also from Hokkaido. Santouka prices are reasonable and give a good portion. I usually get shoyu or miso ramen. I want to try the kara miso and kara miso charsiu ramen next time.
