Juices are made with frozen ingredients. Fresh orange juice didn’t taste like fresh juice. Smoothies are better than a single juice. Sandwiches are salty but we liked the one with caramelized onion it was good but salty

Yummy sandwiches! I really liked my Pesto deluxe sandwich. The gooey, melting cheese oozing out after a bite. Pesto was delicious and the sandwich was hot and crunchy and tasty! Friendly service and inside was very cutely decorated. A long table and several chairs looking outside, so I was able to see people passing by as I enjoy my food. Smoothies and drinks seem to be pretty popular too. People were swinging by for pickup or just to take out and eat at the Ala Moana Beach park.

Super cute place with great service. We had the pastrami sandwich and chipotle chicken sandwich. The chipotle chicken sandwich was the best one.

The food looks the exact same as the photos. We dined in at this restaurant and had the pastrami gourmet grilled cheese. We were so impressed by how huge the portion sizes are! Although it was so incredibly delicious, I couldn’t even eat half because it was so packed it was with pastrami, mozzarella and caramelized onions. The side sauce was also delicious! We also ordered the Nutella fluff for desert and it was so good! Crispy and buttery on the outside and gooey and hot with Nutella and marshmallow on the inside. Their prices are actually really low for what you get and for comparable places at Ala Moana center, in the heart of Honolulu, Hawaii. The customer service was fantastic and the experience overall was memorable. Best yet, it’s a local family small business, which is basically non existent otherwise in this area. Great job at creating a wonderful experience, we will for sure be coming back again.Vegetarian options: Try the pesto and tomato soup if you are a vegetarian for sure.

It's very delicious. Still, it's a little salty for Koreans to eat. If you're Korean,I recommend DA ALOHA. It suits the Korean taste well. There are a variety of drinks, and I bought JUNGLE BEACH. I recommend it because it is sweet and creamy. However, THE LOCAL is very salty.

This place is such a cute little oasis inside the craziness of Ala Moana mall. A little trendy cafe to rest at while you're shopping. They have a rainbow cheese sandwich that my kids were so excited about and it was delicious too! The staff was super friendly and helpful despite being basically slammed all the time. Highly recommend!

My boyfriend and I decided to try out Honolulu Bistro three hours before our flight since the cheese pull from the sandwich photos looked phenomenal! We ordered three sandwiches: Pastrami Sandwich, PB&J (with crunchy peanut butter), and The Local Deluxe. They were all delicious, and the three pickles were just enough. We also really enjoyed dipping all our sandwiches into the sauce (not sure what it was, but it tasted similar to honey mustard but not quite a honey mustard sauce) - including the PB&J sandwich! Customer service was amazing as well! The lady at the front (whom I believe is one of the owners/owners wife) offered to help us with selections, and she was super sweet! There is also have a super cute plant area in the corner! We will come back the next time we visit Hawaii. Thank you, and we hope business continues to boom!

Tasty but overpriced. We had a pharmaceutical rep lunch the other day and decided to try this restaurant for the first time. We ordered through Bite Squad as we almost always do. We know that their prices are slightly higher in comparison to going to the restaurants in person, but usually the portion sizes &/or items included are worth the price. Picture #1 is my co-worker's $16 sandwich; no chips, no drink, no extras. Picture #2 is my $20 sandwich; it came with 3 pickle slices & the dipping sauce. Picture #3 is my lunch from today...a Rueben sandwich with lots of pickles & a bag of chips for $13 from a different restaurant.

Definitely NOT worth the money! The tomato soup really didn't have much taste. You could not taste any basil or garlic. It was less than a cup of soup! The OG grilled cheese sandwich wasn't special at all, nor was it larger than one I could get at Zippy's for half the price.

I always pass by this cute bistro and finally decided to stop by. I had high expectations since the pictures looked amazing and they didn't disappoint! I got the local sandwich, which is a regular kind of grilled cheese but with corned beef added. the melty cheese and crispy bread were wonderful, and I love the added flavor of the corned beef. my only concern is that prices have significantly increased recently, when comparing the menu in store to pictures I saw online. it's quite expensive for a sandwich and tomato soup to be $20 when making this at home could be less than $5. it's still a tasty choice if I'm in the mall but I'd opt for a "fancier" sandwich next time for the price you pay.
