The location is good, with indoor and outdoor seating. But a recent change turns me off: When your order is ready, they loudly call out your order number instead of bringing your order to your table. I expect this at a car wash, not a nice restaurant. And certainly not at a place where they make their own croissants daily! I hope they will discontinue this obtrusive procedure.

A pleasant downtown surprise! Situated in a tastefully restored historic building, this sandwich shop gets packed but moves very quickly. Coworkers love the meatballs on Tuesday & Thursday. Other solid options include the Reuben panini and chicken/gorgonzola on focaccia. Good for a quick meal or to catch your breath.

This cafe is hidden and you have to find street parking but the food here is worth it. As soon as you walk in you get hit with the smell of coffee and food. The staff is also really nice and friendly. Keep in mind that this is a locally owned business and they make everything fresh to order. The first thing that caught my eye was the eggs benedict (not sure if it was a special). I ordered that, the french toast, and the whole reuben sandwich. When ordering the cashier let me know that the eggs benny is made fresh so I would have to wait a bit longer which is fine by me. My food came out in about 20 minutes. The reuben was so good along with the potato salad that came with it. The french toast (which ended up coming with scrambled eggs and a piece of bacon!) were super fluffy. And the eggs benedict was top notch for something that was made in a small cafe! Where else in downtown will you be able to order an eggs benny! The food was phenomenal and I cant wait to try the other things on the menu!

Needed to order food for an office meeting and this place is conveniently located across the street. If you're gonna preorder for that day, just know that you'll need to call multiple times because they don't answer the phone, maybe because they're busy...but, you can keep trying. But, if you can preorder online for a day in advance. We orders the chicken caesar salad, gorgonzola salad w/chicken, clam chowder, ice tea and Thai lemonade. All looked and tasted YUMMM They have specials, but you'll need to go in and see what they are. They have lots of seating and very nice spot to have lunch, but go early...they get busy fast. I'll need to go back again to check out the other items. I noticed they have "Panipopo" which is interesting because it's a Samoan dessert that you wouldn't think would be in a cafe like this...but nicely surprised. I'll need to try it and see how their version tastes.

Surprisingly a very good high quality breakfast at reasonable prices. The ordering system is cafeteria style where you go up to the point of sale and make your order. There is no weight staff for tables so when your orders are ready they'll call your number .I ordered the omelette and it was prepared perfectly. It comes with one slice of toast for $13.50.

It is the closest place for coffee to my work, but the coffee quality is middle of the road. They seem to have staff issues often and closed for all possible holidays even when most places are still open (the Friday before Easter for example). They often run out of the cinnamon roll on fridays (the only day they carry it), so today I got the pani popo as a backup order and the dough was raw. It is unfortunate as the staff who have been here the longest are very friendly and kind. The breakfast sandwiches are very good at least.

Best blueberry scone ever. I’m so glad I found this café. It was clean good service good menu choices and I’m going to go back next week for a Reuben sandwich.

I stopped in for a coffee and had a blueberry scone too. Both were delicious. The scone was the best I've ever eaten. The place was spotlessly clean, great staff and good menu choices. I plan on going back next week for a Ruben sandwich. so happy I found this café

The food was delicious, very fresh and tasty. Should of taken a pic and forgot. I had the salmon avocado and it was excellent with a hot chai latte. Cappuccino and some type of chicken sandwich for my husband he said was very good. We were just there today April 5th, 2023 and glad we found it. Hope to go for breakfast before we leave in the next few days.

Excellent pastries for a quick snack, tasty salad dressings and perfectly grilled salmon for a healthy lunch. Many regular customers are met by name and new faces are welcomed.Outside tables are well protected from rain and wind, very pleasant atmosphere in the Dillingham Building downtown.Vegetarian options: Many options available with a wide array of salads and pastries.

How is anybody rating this place less than 5 stars?

Stopped in here, since my usual lunch places were closed. I was looking for a really quick place since my break is only 30mins. In saw the sign showing that their soup of the day was clam chowder so that alone sold me. It's a very nice place. They have smoothies, juices, coffees, teas, really good selection of lunch sandwiches, soups, salads, and even something's a little heavier like pasta. I wasn't expecting that but it was nice to know! I got the clam chowder and ham and cheese croissant. Came out to little under $13. I thought the ham and cheese should have been a little bit bigger but with the soup it came out to just the right portion. I LOVE the clam chowder. It was very hearty nice big chunks of potatoes and celery and of course clams. Dipping the ham and cheese in the chowder... perfection! I will definitely be back since I work nearby. Just bummed that I only work in town once a week
