The place is cute and the people are friendly, but this is the worst sushi I’ve ever had. The fish was absolutely not fresh at all, and was such a weird texture. I got the salmon lover. Don’t eat sushi here.

I got really bad food poisoning from there, with fever and was sick for 7 days. They don’t have good quality control and the sushi is rotten. The people are very friendly though.

I came to Honolulu Sushi at 7pm on a Thursday, and it was completely empty. There were only two people working, and the lady in the front was very welcoming. She was very patient as I took a long time to order. My mom and I shared the ahi poke bento, and I got a vegetable hand roll for myself. The ahi poke bento was a really good deal at around $15. It came with 4 nigiri (ahi, salmon, shrimp, tamago), 3 hosomaki (cucumber, takuan, and ahi) and a decent amount of ahi poke and rice. The poke was super fresh, but a little over seasoned for my liking. The vegetable hand roll was okay. It had lettuce, cucumber, avocado, kampyo, and takuan. I wish the vegetables were distributed more evenly because in my first few bites I was just eating lettuce and rice. I did takeout, but there are a few tables inside. The parking lot here is small and confusing to navigate.

Honolulu Sushi is reliable, quick, consistent, good service, convenient location, and reasonably priced. They share a lot with Yogur Story (formally Likelike Drive Inn), next to Teapresso. A bunch of tables to eat at inside if you want to dine in. They have party platters perfect for potlucks. I've tried their nigiri set and a few hand rolls. Best enjoyed immediately after they are made so they are the right temperature and texture.

I was at the pagoda Hotel due to a surgery my mom needed to have. I did not want to go out to find food. They were so awesome to deliver my order to the lobby of the hotel. And my meal was really good. Thanks again!

Every time I come here I leave with a full tummy and a big smile on my face! The food is always delicious and quick to come out, but my favorite thing about this place is the people. The best way I can describe eating here is that it feels like they are welcoming you into their home for a meal. They are always incredibly kind and I always look forward to my next visit when I leave.

California Maki and tofu soup was really good. Fast and friendly service. The Aunty and Uncle running the restaurant are super nice.

A cozy place with nice people and excellent customer service. They actually get to to know you and I like that a business understands what customer service is. I always have a sushi bento here. The salmon is really good and the ahi poke sushi bento is a great lunch. The portions are on the small side but this is not a high end restaurant serving expensive food. I'm ok with the smaller nigiri portions here, but with the soup and rice in a bento will definitely fill you up. My little go-to place for a quick sushi bite.

I don't like sea food, so I got chicken teriyaki salad, it was ok. My Son \u0026 daughter N law got veggie \u0026 sea food sushi. They loved them.

Small little hidden sushi spot with a couple of tables inside for dining in was a great choice by me to get takeout. Older lady at the register greeted us and everyone else who came in to dine or order out. She was very kind and portrayed good customer service which I appreciate. Lots on the menu is delicious and to my liking. I got one of my favorite makis; dynamite maki. This is one of my go-to order at sushi shops so I'll know when it's a hit or miss. And it was a hit. The ahi was delicious and packed onto my roll! It was super saucy which I love. It also comes with a piece of gyoza on the side with the order too. The only con is that it was slightly warm which I assume is because of the rice. Maybe if the rice was room temperature or sushi rice it would've been a lot better.

The sushi is always on point at this place. My favorite is the Honolulu bento. It has four nigiris (ahi, salmon, ebi and hamachi) California roll, spicy ahi on rice, shrimp tempura and veggie tempura. I haven't been here in about two years, but the size of the nigiris have shrunk. The rice and the slice of fish is much smaller. They also swapped out my hamachi with tamago without telling me. Did they think that I wasn't going to notice? With everything being said the food was still very good. The chicken katsu salad was decent. The piece of fried chicken was crispy and the meat was tender. They didn't put any dressing on the salad though.

Absolutely love the home-like atmosphere. The gentleman in the front was very comforting and relaxed. He even took the time to take my food out of the bag when he realized I was dining in for lunch. He even gave me a bowl of Miso The sushi is good - Spicy Ahi comes finely cut, not cubed like foodland... and to me, it's a winner. I also got their grilled salmon Maki which was tasty, not drenched with unagi or anything like that, just finely drizzled so you could still taste the fish. Overall lovely place to come if you're trying to get away from those big box brand and food courts.

Somewhat decent price for sushi and rice bowls. It's a hit or miss on the quality, but their service is good. Sometimes they will give you miso soup if you dine in.
