Stopped in at the Islander Drive Inn for a quick bite. Had a mini loco moco and it hit the spot. Right proportion of gravy to meat and rice. The Mac salad was very good. Next time I will get the full plate so I can have two eggs.Place was clean and the guy who helped me was very nice.
It's an older plate lunch restaurant, but it hit the spot, especially at the price point most of the items are priced at. There were a few items listed on the menu that were no longer available, such as kalua pork. Service was quick and the staff nice. I will return again the next time I am in the area.

Definitely set the bar for Loco moco! Excellent food, excellent service, speedy delivery! It is absolutely fantastic, and I will definitely try to make another trip if only for the want of amazing Hawaiian style food!!!
