Lunch during COVID. Social distancing sitting provided for dine in. I ordered the Hawaiian burger, the pineapples (there was 2), was really good, but with the Teri sauce, pineapple and the oversized cut onions, it made the burger really sloppy and difficult to eat. The sandwich itself was good, Extra napkins were brought but it was just a messy thing to hold and no wipes given after lunch. Boo hoo. My drink wasn't refilled either.

My friends and I were in need of a reunion and so the theme for dinner was burgers. We found ourselves coming to Ala Moana to try out Islands, a personal go to of my friends who was with us there that night. I was excited to try it out myself, but was a little dissatisfied at what happened the night we did come. You see, we had a group of more than 5 people, so we kindly asked to be seated not too far from each other (which thankfully, the workers were nice enough to help accommodate). We were greeted by our server ryan who got our drinks right away then our orders. Again, our group was split into two tables. When it came time to ordering, I was super hungry and got the hula burger. The ingredients listed on the menu for it looked savory, and my other friends ordered the same burgers as well. It didn't take that long for the food to come out, and once it did my hunger overcame me and I started feasting. But My own hunger must have overcame my tastebuds because from the looks of everyone's faces, the beef itself wasn't really flavorful nor seasoned that night. One friend also pointed out how the buns were soggy. Upon further reflection of my chewing, I couldn't help but agree. Likewise, we finished our dinner a bit unsatisfied for having to pay what we did for the food we ate. But in the midst of our own dining, what we didn't also realize was our friends on the other table who ordered the same time as we did never. Got. Their. Food. And again, our table was already done eating. They were told their order never made it to the kitchen. Yikes. We appreciate the management having been very nice and trying their best to assuage the situation that happened that night, but overall the night just wasn't looking so good. Maybe next time Island's.

Love this place because my wife can enjoy some good gluten free options! Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Usually not a long wait here, good fast American food. Happy hour is only offered in the bar/lounge area.

I had never been to Islands Burgers in Hawaii, but I found my Burger to be very very delicious. The Kilauea. It was big, spicy, and cooked perfectly. The fish Tacos were good too. The bottomless fries were great! Margaritas and Pina Coladas were yummy. Service was good, and food came out fast. Definitely going back for the happy hour. Considering it's Covid I have to tip my hat to you Islands Ala Moana.

I went there to dine in Thursday at the Ala Moana center. Greeted upon entering and asked if I wanted an indoor booth or outside seating. I chose inside and the table was cleaned and sprayed before seating us. Covid protocols followed well with cleaning, masks and social distancing as we were not seated next to anyone. I ordered the Malibu burger 16 $and my brother ordered the Kilauea burger same price. Burgers Still comes with endless fries which were crispy salted and Ono and they asked if we wanted more fries when we ran low. Got the endless bucket of Diet Coke 3.75 .We also ordered the nachos 15$ and the waiter asked if we wanted it to come out first and we said yes. The nachos were really delicious with lots of cheese, jalapeños, sour cream, guacamole and salsa. The Malibu burger was big probably a quarter pound at least and it was cooked to perfection and delicious. My brother said his was also very very good. Our drinks were refilled quickly and the employees always asked if we wanted a refill when it got near empty . Superb great service, nice atmosphere and ambiance. Really really enjoyed it there and will go again. Thank you for an enjoyable experience Island burgers. Top notch at reasonable prices For Hawaii.

Stopped by this past weekend for some drinks. The restaurant was good at keeping the customers & tables at a safe distance. Staff & customers were also masked up. Great prices during happy hour which starts daily @ 3:00 pm. Friendly & efficient bartenders kept up with everyone's orders.

We are a family of 5 currently in quarantine at a resort nearby. We are just moving here. Found this little gem on DoorDash and figured we’d give it a try. Delicious!! Not a single complaint from any of my 3 teens or my husband. The nacho’s, Hawaiian, Kilauea, and Maui burgers were perfectly done. Lots of food for the money. We’ll definitely be eating from here again.

The food is ok. I ordered the ahi poke bowl which looked great. I forgot to take a picture of my moms and her friends burgers as well as the ahi appetizer lol They maintain all the regulations during this virus. They also don't provide menus right now but there is a QR code on the table for you to see the menu online. They do have some food options available that are not on the current menu (shorter menu for now I'm assuming until things get back to normal) so if you had something previously before the virus that you want I suggest asking your server if they have it available or not. We came on a Tuesday so it was slow all around, so if you're worried about a crowd during this time I suggest coming on either Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday as you dont have to worry about too many people or worry about social distancing too much. Even the makai bar (the old mai tais) only had 1 customer the whole time we were dining here (outdoor seating). Our server was ok, he was friendly but seemed like he wasn't very attentive when we tried asking for some things, like when we tried asking for the ahi appetizer he said ok and quickly rushed away before we could finish asking him for other things like straws, napkins and extra utensils.
