Do you want local grinds that's ono plus generous portions to boot? The bonus is your wallet will smile when you have to pay. The hamburger steak (hand made), garlic chicken and garlic pork chops will make you a believer. Street parking only so best to call in your order and it's made to order. Just a suggestion, order the regular instead of the mini. Toss salad is available and no rice option if so desired. Even the take out container will amaze you. Enjoy!

This is one of the best cheap eat place for breakfast! Discovered it on yelp one day. Located in Kalihi, kind of in the industrial area. Small locally owned shop for takeout only. We usually come here after a morning hike. They have very good deals with their specials with so many options. They are known for their garlic chicken. We would always get the Special: Garlic Chicken with 2 Eggs, Fried Rice & 2 Bacons. They give a huge plate of fried rice and chunky charsiu. A bit on the sweeter side. Also tried their chowmein and pork hash, love it too! Some people would say it can be bland, but just the way I like it.Can't beat the portion and price here.

If I'm going to shorten my lifespan because of my food choices... well, the food has to be worth it. And some of what I ordered here today fell short.I came here based on the rave reviews from fellow Yelpers but wasn't quite impressed as I thought I'd be...I ordered a variety of different dishes to share:Reg Fried RiceReg NoodlesSide of Garlic Chicken (5pc)Side of Steamed Pork Hash (8pc)Side of Corned Beef HashOne scoop of Mac SaladFried Rice - looks plain and bland but it was actually well seasoned and one of the better dishes I enjoyed.Noodles - Texture was on point and I love chewy thin noodles... but it lacked in flavor, even after I added some bit of the spicy oil sauce it came with. The Char Siu pieces added to the flavor but couldn't save this dish.Garlic Chicken - Flavor was definitely there but it was really tough to bite into; fried pieces were stale... like it had been sitting under a heat lamp all morning, so it was chewy like tough jerky... Steamed Pork Hash - This was exactly what one could expect; a little salty but tender. I like to dip mine in Hot Mustard, which they do have if you ask. There is a fried Pork Hash option, but I didn't want to send myself to diabetes land with all the choices I made today.Corned Beef Hash - this was on the thicker side and tough to cut in half... had to use a serrated knife to take a piece, whereas at other places, it was tender enough to use a fork.Mac Salad - Nice and creamy but a bit pricey for one scoopThere is a teeny parking lot on the left of the walk up window. But if it had been filled, finding parking in this area would be tricky. It's not a sit down restaurant so expect it's takeout only. There's a 4% charge for credit card transactions so bring cash, if you want to give this place a try.Overall, I didn't have the experience I was hoping for... the portions are huge but my meal was a bit lackluster. I might give this place one more chance but I don't really come down here and made the trip, just to try the food at this place.Meh.

Food is pretty good and so are the portion sizes for the price. I mainly like to order their breakfast plates.

Omg do we live love food when we're visiting the islands! No other way to experience Hawai'i than eating local food and giving back to these amazing people and communities around the islands. We love ourselves a hole in the wall eatery and this place is one. Don't sleep on this one we promise, located far from tourist area you will find one of the best breakfast spots on the island of Oahu. Not only the best but look at those prices! This is about a 95% discount price from our resort breakfast prices. Why would you not!! Very very nice young lady taking orders and the food was just amazing! We paid about $15 for two traditional breakfast plates, coffee and Thai teas. You will be amazed on the amazing menu options and the wonderful flavors.

This is the best breakfast plate deal on the island!!! Omg biggest plate ever and the fried rice actually has a ton of meat unlike mitzuken's fried rice. Everything was delicious just pretty oily lol. I didn't mind tho when the plate costs around $11. Literally the amount of fried rice is INSANE. Can't wait to come back. Great service too. Even accepts Apple Pay.

Take out only. Large plate lunches. Generous portions. Food so so. Corned beef hash with eggs and fried rice $12.50. hash was very dry. The garlic chicken plate was very tasteless. CANNOT be compared to Sugoi's. Not even close. Had no garlic flavor or taste.Parking: Very hard finding parking.

Love K&K Kitchen. Can't go wrong with anything you pick here as it's comfort food at its finest. I'll start with their garlic chicken. Most places make a good sauce so that to me isn't what makes it stand out. It's the quality of the chicken-no knuckles and odd pieces of meat. They are made with thigh meat, are boneless with some skin. It's the perfect balance for people like me that still want the yummy goodness from the fat and crispiness but rip off the skin... I know for many, the fried skin is the best part... haha... but it's just not healthy! Anyway, you get these perfectly fried, crispy and sauced garlic chicken balls. They are good sized, larger than a golf ball, and you get 10+ pieces! Portions here are great! I also picked up the noodle and chicken thigh (which is also fried with bone) and an eight piece pork hash. Love a good Chinese thin noodle. There were large slices of Char Siu on the noodle too. Score! Pork hash was average+ and on the "plainer" side, but again, no mystery meat or weird crunches so it's all good with me! All items were delicious, and I will be coming back. Thanks to my Yelp Guru buddies Fran C. and Auntie Nadine for the recommendation! Hours are until 2pm. I recommend to call in your order, park curbside and run in!
