One of our go to Korean spots in town! Been eating here for over 15 years. This family own business has been open since 1977!! It's a hole in the wall, very spacious, good for large parties, & friendly young staff! We usually get the mandoo, meat jun, chicken katsu, kalbi, but today I tried something different...zucchini jun & it was yummy! Theres never a wait. Street parking in front & paid parking lot in back.

Always good food. Love it. We drive across the island to eat here. The 3rd generation Chun family owners are doing a great job in continuing the family business. Support local! Service is great! Food is great!

If you want good Korean food, generous servings with lots of side dishes and leftovers to bring home, this is the place to go! I had the meat jung, which so far, is the best I've had. The meat is flavored and the egg coating is tasty. Together the pieces are very moist and tender. Some places tend to overcook the meat so the egg batter gets dry and hard. The side dishes here are also flavorful and plenty. We had seaweed soup, cabbage and dried radish kim chee, bean sprouts, seaweed, cabbage and a sweet potato mac salad. This all came with a bowl of rice and a mountain of meat jung! The service here was excellent. The servers are hustling and very attentive. This is a very family friendly, comfortable, get together with friends kind of place. I'm glad I live close by so I can always come here if I want good Korean food!

Came here on a whim for lunch with my colleagues after a client visit. I lived in Kaimuki for a few years but I never got to experience this "hole in the wall." I went ahead and ordered the meat jun and shrimp tempura plate. When I tell you this is the best meat jun I've ever tasted, I'm telling you the truth. The meat jun wasn't dry like other places. Instead, the meat was tender and juicy with every bite. The egg wasn't dry either, it was moist. This is a family-owned business and I'm always about supporting local. The workers here were so nice and accommodating. So when I'm in the area, I will definitely stop by to grab a plate again. Man, after writing this review, I'm already thinking of that next bite. So ono!

I miss the 1 and 2nd generations. I have to say this 3rd generation is rocking it. Keep up the great work and make the angels that is here everyday proud !!!

We go here often to pick up lunch for the office. Easy to phone our order in it's about 25 minutes wait to pick our oder up. I run in and able to get out of the parking lot without having to pay for parking. This is the best tasting Korean food in my opinion. Their sauce for meat jun, chicken katsu and mandoo is best at this location. A must order is the sweet potato mac salad and daikon kim chee is delicious! I order the lunch special to get a little bbq chicken, meat jun and mandoo for a very reasonable price. i wish they would update their website with a up to date menu with current price. I don't eat in very often so I don't have an up to date review about the ambiance. I remember you get the complimentary seaweed soup, kim chee and daikon kim chee.

The servers were friendly and helpful. I ordered the barbecue chicken. It was juicy and flavorful, better than it has ever been. Overall, there has been an improvement in all of the food.

Wonderful OG local Korean restaurant. The BBQ meats are cooked beautifully so that it’s still tender with pleasing smoky flavor. The BBQ sauce is the perfect blend of sweetness, soy, garlic and a hint of chili. Nothing out of balance. Staff are super nice and friendly. Atmosphere is relaxed and chill. My favs are bbq chicken, kalbi, mundoo, and meat jun.Parking: Lot in back is paid but large so you have a decent chance of snagging a space.

Just one of those spots that have been around forever, and it’s easy to see why. Free soup before you order, good banchan (except the won bok kimchee, it’s kinda watery), and gargantuan portion sizes for the price. On top of that, all of the entrees that I’ve tried tasted great. All of the people who say that you can’t find good Korean food on Oahu clearly haven’t been here.

You can't get plates with these prices!!! Great staff and service is always great! My favorite place when I'm craving kimchee soup, so much inside a good size bowl! Love this place!

A must try local spot! Still the best spot on the island! Several years since I have been back, this place still knocks it out of the park. Mahalo to our generation that continues to make it a local favorite.

Great service!! Loved the food and portion size. Getting the Mac salad instead of the seaweed soup is ok. Can't wait to come back.

Some dishes were decent but others were void of flavor and the jun meat and shrimp was just in greasy batter. The short rib was tough and chewy.
