Loved it here. I wanted to eat everything ? I got the Kīlauea because it was the last one, it was huge and super yummy!!! Great place for a fast meal before we left Hawaii, grabbed some extra for the plane too! Highly recommend but check the hours, things sell out quick!

Tiny shop but well worth a visit. Their spicy tuna poke is fresh, delicious and affordable. It made a great quick takeaway lunch after a day out shopping. They also have a varied range of onigiri that also looked great, though several were sold out by the time I arrived.

A surprisingly great hidden rice ball shop in Eaton Square. Having just been to Japan, the rice was legit and had a really good texture and flavor, even after sitting for a bit. One of the few places you can get mentaiko rice balls and the price is quite reasonable. The salmon bento is good too, the salmon is well seasoned. We had the poke and we thought it was a bit too salty for our tastes.

When we visited, the store hours were 8am-2pm instead of 10am-2pm. Go early for the best selection! This is a hidden gem that I hope everyone finds. How do you beat the trifecta of deliciousness, affordability, and quality ingredients? This place is tucked away inside the arched gateway of Eaton Square. On our recent trip to Oahu, we tried these during our first visit:1. Kilauea - round rice patty shaped with chicken and spicy tuna filling, wrapped in seaweed with chicken and spicy tuna. Almost a meal on its own.2. Pork Kakuni & Egg - we called this the ramen onigiri because of the egg3. Ten Musu - shrimp tempuraAll three were so good. The rice was fluffy and perfectly cooked. I normally don’t even like onigiris because I feel like I am just eating rice, but Komedokoro’s made me realize I haven’t had any good ones yet. Their filling to rice ratio makes them perfectly balanced. We went back the next day to stock up for our flight back. We bought a variety of spam musubis, onigiris, and bento boxes. My kids said this place was their favorite meal in Hawaii. I personally think this is the best outside of Japan!

Possibly the best spam musubi I've eaten - and this is having tried one that was brought back from Hawai'i and then another that was reheated (sacrilege, I know). The rice is perfectly moist and seasoned and the musubi holds together beautifully. All the ingredients are well balanced - never too much filling or too much rice in a bite.

Our new favorite local spot! During just our 5 day trip in Waikiki, we have been here 3 times now. It's just a 10 minute walk, but sadly they only open weekdays, 8am-2pm. It's one of those places you should come early otherwise they sell out. This cute little shop is meant for take-away only, and sell beverages that are already bottled. They have a vast selection of Masubis, Rice Bowls, some Noodles and Poke. They sell only one kind of fish for Poke Bowl but it's so good. Here's what we ordered:POKE BOWL SPICY - $19.59This is Tuna with Spicy Mayo over rice and it's legit and so good. We ordered it 3 times.FRIED NOODLE - $5.95Spam, Carrot, Cabbage.Something easy for the kids/babies. BEEF BOWL - $16.59 (Large)Comes in 3 sizes, and this is a simple rice bowl with shreds of beef with nice flavors. Good for the kids.UNAGI BOWL - $15 (Small)So good! Exactly what I wanted and the price was so good. It was something already out on display and was able to quickly grab it and go.IKURA SALMON BOWL - $19.59 (Medium). This holiday special was a steal! They are SO generous with the salmon roe and it's as only $20! There are pieces of cooked salmon but it's mostly salmon roe and it's amazing. I love it here so much, and it has become our favorite go to spot whenever we come back. It's authentic, delicious and SO reasonably priced.

Some of the best musubi's on the island. The products are from Japan and the rice is made perfect-soft but the musubi still holds together nicely. There is street parking that you can pay for or just wait and have someone run in to get the musubis. Can't go wrong with any of the selections. Always a place to visit before going to the beach or circle island.

A friend turned me onto this place as it's kind of off the beaten path in the Waikiki area. The choices are very convenient and perfect to take to the beach. The ume and takuan musubi was overly fishy for me since there was seaweed in the rice that you couldn't see by looking at the musubi. The chicken and gobo musubi was very nice and light with a slight teriyaki taste to the rice overall. The mini musubi with spam and one with spam and egg were cute and hit with the kids. The inari sushi was very good, the rice perfectly seasoned with flavor. Not too much sauce and the right amount where the rice wasn't overly sauced. My only issue was the croquette bento. As a person who isn't fond of meat and eats it in small proportions, I thought the croquette would have been a good vegetarian option. However, it came with a piece of fried fish and I think an egg coated dipped imitation crab piece. I didn't see any other reviews mentioning the croquette so I didn't know what to expect. It would be nice to get a vegetarian option with two croquettes because the sides of seaweed, gobo and pickled takuan were perfectly seasoned and paired well with the croquette. The croquette was mushy all around, not crispy, so I am not sure when it was made. My mom ate the fish and was slightly disappointed by how much coating to fish was present and a little overly oily. The musubi is worth the try if you are in the area. Suggest having someone drop you off since street parking can be hit or miss.

It is a great Musubi Restaurant! There is a wide selection of Musubi and for the fish lovers, and for vegetarians. There is a lunch boxes as well. I recommend this place, try salmon/cream cheese musubi.
