Really love their boneless chicken! I had high hopes for the garlic soy series but we ended up loving the honey so flavor much more! Also love the two new flavors they added for December 2023! Hope it sticks around!

their chewy cheese balls are back! it has been out for so long ah finally! as a cheese lover, i am happy. :) they have cheese ball fondue (mozzarella flavored), & cheese ball gorgonzolla (hint of chocolate).

Tasty K.F.C not overly fried and perfectly cooked. Seasoned well with the sauces. Prices are about right on this island compared to other spots they are all on the same price range. Walking inside, reminded me of Korea with how things were displayed. Would definitely eat

I love chicken wings, especially hot wings. I used to love KFC hot wings before they skipped on the quality control. I've recieved one too many half wings from them. I also enjoy Popeyes Ghost Pepper Roasted Garlic Parmesan wings and Domino's Garlic Parmesan. These were a different experience.I ordered the Half & Half Soy Garlic / Red Wings. These were totally delicious. The fried chicken batter consistency is different from every other wing I've tried. The flavors are addictive. Will definitely purchase again and again. Excited for my next purchase.

A popular chain from Korea has arrived in Hawaii! The restaurant is a small shop located in the old Like Like drive in complex. Parking is usually available but sometimes fills up during peak hours and weekends. We ordered the 30 pc boneless half and half (plain and yangnyum). Since they cook to order, chicken takes about 25-30 min so beware! We decided to dine in and they have a few small tables available to sit at. The decor inside is cute and they play kpop music to set the mood! You're also welcome to go next door to buy banchan and bring it inside. Since Kyochon only has a few side options, it was nice to get some veggies to go with our chicken. 30 pc order for two people is HUGE! We barely made a dent in it. The chicken was hot off the fryer and was so crispy and juicy. We also ordered a side of the pickled daikon which was excellent as well. Overall, it was a great meal and although a bit pricey, it does feed a lot of people!

Everything is pretty good quality compared to your options here But the Yangnyum Chicken is complete trash They said it was spicy, but it's 0% spice and extremely sickly sweet to the point where I am turned off with one bite They should remove it from their menu because I don't believe anyone can like it But Honey Chicken is really the best option Red Style is just a bit bland Soy Garlic is alright, but gets soggy quick due to the nature of the sauce

Ordered through Uber eats so all I can comment is on the food, it was great. I don’t really know why the rating for this restaurant is so low, it’s really good.

Clean walk up chicken wing spot and whole fried chicken. I tried the red chicken wing (12) piece. It is Korean style fried chicken. Taste good not overly spicy.

Came here by chance and decided to do some take out. The place was clean the staff was very friendly and helped me with my order. I got the Soy garlic single and the yangnyum, it was one of the best KFC I had before. Wings took about 20 minutes considering its fried fresh. Would definitely come back to try their other flavors knowing they use fresh chicken and natural ingredients. Wish they had had smaller portions like a plate lunch though.

Kyochon now has an online order site, which makes it more convenient to get your order in. I was quoted 25 minutes. The food ended up taking an additional 15 minutes so just budget for additional wait time. I got their soy garlic wings because that's my favorite flavor at other Korean Fried Chicken joints. The flavor was good but was only on the crispy skin. It seemed like the chicken itself wasn't marinated not marinated for long because the drumsticks were a bit dry. The wings were tasty though. I did takeout and the skin was still mostly crispy. I prefer another KFC place but Kyochon is worth a try so you can judge for yourself which KFC joint reigns supreme!

It's all good, but it's a bit over the top to put in a piece of chicken that's the size of a mouse. I often ordered wings because they had legs and wings, but these days, as the name of the menu suggests, they only serve wings and there is only one really small leg.

Food... some things excellent. Their "Real Fried" boneless chicken is soooooo good. Their rice crispy chicken strips (sal sal) is way better in the mainland. Here it's like chicken jerky. Small and dried and tough and not worth the money. Glad they're in Hawaii now but hope the rice crispy strips get better cuz they're fantastic on the mainland. Also expect a super super long wait (40 minutes).

***3.5 STARS*** Just the other day my sister asked if I had any dinner plans, in which I originally was planning to stay home on my precious night off. She extended me an invite to join them for KFC (Korean fried chicken), in particular Kyochon, located near door to Yogur Story on Keeaumoku Street. Kyochon started in 1991 and is one of the largest KFC restaurants in South Korea with over 1200 locations in Korea and has expanded to over 70 international locations and can be located in China, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Taiwan, Thailand, United States, and United Arab Emirates. We got there shortly after 7pm and had 3 parties dining in and a few people waiting for their carryout order. Favorite nephew by default had ordered a combo of their 4 types of KFC with sides of potato wedges, garlic butter fried rice and daikon. He was quoted a 40mim wait. When I found out the combo only offered drumettes and flats, I wanted to order a whole chicken to satisfy my liking of breast meat and boney pieces. So after consulting with the family I got a whole soy garlic chicken and some daikon. I was quoted a 45min wait but I didn't mind as I read the food is made to order. After paying we secured a table and sat down. I listened to my family's stories of their trip to Korea last month, which included their experience at Kyochon. THE VERDICT: How wrong I was with hopes of eating freshly made chicken and sides. The chicken, potatoes and rice were all premade and served to us lukewarm. I was tempted to send the food back as we clearly were disappointed but let it go. The hot and Yangnyum chicken wings were clearly my favorite as the flavors shined. But then again, the chicken wings were barely warm. The soy garlic was not bad but would have preferred bolder flavors. The honey wings were a disappointment as it was bland to me. I had high hopes for the potato wedges but it was cold so one wedge was enough for me. The garlic butter fried rice was tasty but again, would have preferred it temperature hot. The best side was the daikon as it was cool and enjoyed the crunch when eating the nicely cut cubes. I appreciated the simplicity of its interior and its brightness. The staff, in particular the cashier, was a little off when she took my order. I made it clear that I wanted a whole soy garlic chicken but she got my order wrong and caught her error so I was able to fix it before finalizing my food order. Overall, mixed feelings at Kyochon where I'd be game for a return visit but I will not tolerate being served premade chicken served to me barely warm. I will make sure if my chicken will be made fresh and if it's not guaranteed, I see myself walking out and patronizing another business as the prices here are on the high side and Kyochon should be held accountable for their food quality.
