While waiting for my flight at Honolulu Airport, I indulged in a plate of roasted chicken with mashed potatoes, gravy, corn, and green beans. It was absolutely delicious! In fact, it was so good that I decided to take two whole chickens with mashed potatoes and gravy to enjoy with my family in Hilo later that evening for dinner. Despite the less-than-ideal airport ambiance, there's plenty of seating available if you prefer to sit and eat at a table. I'll definitely be returning. Plus, the service was exceptional--they even wrapped everything in plastic wrap to prevent spills during the flight.

We read the review before we landed. It said, "best airport food ever." We have been through a lot of airports and would have to agree. The 2 piece white meat "fried" chicken was the bomb. Good mashed potatoes and gravy and some macaroni salad. Well worth the $18.50. So glad they are open again. The PGA restaurant was always over priced. And underwhelming. This is a welcome and great alternative.

Pretty tasty for airport food. The breast was pretty dry, however the dark meat was very good.

Wanted to try some fried chicken, because who doesn'tlove Fried Chicken? Asked when will they have more chicken available to purchase because there was only 1 breast/1 wing under the hot lamp. Lady yelled at cook, "when you got more chicken!?" I heard some mumbled response, and she says, "I don't know, maybe a long time". ? Turned her back on me and acted busy doing nothing.The dining room was dirty, smudged tables. Trash overflowing. Not busy, staff did not look happy to be there.
They had roast pork with the crispy edges, a very welcome surprise! Home style veggies which I appreciate. Solid rice rice mac scoop, classic. Great gravy. When’s the last time you could something like that? Much better than all the other options. Extremely happy with the prices, all the other restaurants are overpriced.Eat within 4 hours, the paper takeaway container does not stand a chance against the veggies

We grabbed two meals on our way to terminal 2. Server was hard of hearing so you'll need to tell him twice what you're ordering and he is specific what chicken meat (white or dark, roaster or fried) you want. It's mostly grab and go meal so this place is fast on people coming by. Let's get the food rated. Chicken is tasty and tender and so as the pork which is I should've ordered as well (just tried the one that hubby got) sides are meh. Rice is doable.. mashed potato taste like a pre mixed one and so as corn. Macaroni salad is too salty. You'll cringe on every bite. It can have improvements as to the quality and taste of the food. Mahalo!

Best eats at a airport bar none for Hawaiian fast food. Reminds me of the old truck stops in Germany where they served up cuts of roasts fresh from the grill for decent prices- yes decent prices at an airport right?

It's airport food in a cafeteria style, what do you expect? You are going to over pay for a decent meal that will fill you up. The food is better than the service, but again it's an airport job that pays very little, don't expect much in the way of service or English skills. The hack is to ask for salt and pepper, The food will taste tremendously better.
