This is a nice place. They have live music, if you like it this place is for you. The food was great. Simple and good. I liked their edamame. The staff is friendly and we did not wait for a long time for our food.

Drinks were super delicious. Our bartender was Mike, who had an exuberant personality and made our visit worth while. Was a great night cap, and we thoroughly enjoyed our experience. 10/10 would recommend, not just for the excellent drinks, but for the wonderful hospitality. Will visit again.

Decided to take advantage of Happy Hour at Leahi Bar + Grill tonight and it did not disappoint! We were greeted and taken care of by the sweetest server - we loved her! Got a great seat outside to people watch on Friday night in Waikiki. I got the Shoyu Poke with rice and my husband got the BBQ Kalua Pork Sandwich. Oh my goodness was the poke ever DELICIOUS! So fresh, melted in my mouth. Great dinner, our plates were both pretty clean at the end!

Food was mediocre but staff was great with a nice atmosphere. The walnut shrimp was good but not served with shell removed so we spent a lot of time figuring out how to eat it. French fries & gravy were cold and not fresh. Main course Loco Moco was ok. Wish mac salad had more flavor.Our server was excellent, very friendly, and prompt. The atmosphere was nice with a really good singer. It was Thursday night 3/7.

We did not have a reservation and was seated immediately. A nice casual dining restaurant has indoor / outdoor seating. The restaurant sits above another restaurant. The live music was a plus. I ordered a Mai tai , egg drop lobster soup, fries ( all was really good). My friend ordered the loco moco ( it came with macaroni salad). I noticed the macaroni salad was eaten in like 2 secs ( it was delicious).

How to kill a thriving restaurant 101: 1) Change the menu every few months, taking away the best items. 2) Start using QR readers for menus. LISTEN UP: Older people have enough issues, print real menus. 3) Fire your best staff. This place was a great restaurant 2 years ago. Hubby and I recommended it to everyone. Thursday, for lunch, my party walked out without ordering even my favorite drink. It's one thing to try and save money but I guarantee you are doing it the wrong way, unless this is just a write off for the owners and they simply do not care. RIP Le'ahi Bar and Grill. PS: Update your online menu to reflect your bad choices.
