Great experience! The food was great and they had several options for the kiddos if your kids are picky. Drinks were fantastic and our server, Kendall, was really good. She had great recommendations from the menu and was really attentive, despite have 2 other large tables, aside from ours.

We are locals that come to town about once a month and Mahina & Suns has been on our list forever. So glad we finally made it happen because it met and surpassed expectations! Probably because first: Ian the bartender was so passionate about his job and cocktails that it was infectious and 2) the cocktailMenu was so unique. We literally made our way down the cocktail menu and hit maybe 2/3 of the menu. But the highlight: the Martini Royale was something I’ve never seen before. The presentation of packing the vodka on ice and instead of olives, it’s an “olive caviar.” It was an experience to remember.I can’t wait to come back and actually eat here. But if the food is anything like the cocktails I have no doubt it will be outstanding….Thanks again Ian for a great experience!

Loved the martini they gave here, very unique, smooth, never even heard of the vodka they use. The mezcal was also enjoyed, smoke with gravel notes. Will come back.

Very expensive but very good. The waitress was super nice and the atmosphere was very modern. The food was high quality. The Hand Cut pasta was the best thing ever, it was complex and unique. Truly an exquisite dish.

Pepperoni pizza was made fresh not frozen. Smoked Ahi tuna sandwich was both flavorful.

Mushroom risotto was cooked perfectly Al dente. The toasted vegetable plate was the first vegetarian meal I had that wasn't just massive plate of lettuce. They included a variety of veggies cooked in different ways. The roasted sweet potato and taro with aioli was delicious. The broccoli was a bit too charred, but the other vegetanles were nicely prepared. Our hostess was on her first day and was very informative and made good selections. The banana pudding was delicious.

Possibly the best meal we had on our entire trip. The mid century modern styling of the Surfjack and acoustic duo playing throughout dinner made for a fun and relaxed ambiance. We had the octopus appetizer which was awesome served with hummus. We had the Fresh Catch and the Off the Hook meals and they were perfect portions with a fabulous balance of flavor.

Allison was a great server. She really knows her stuff and was so on point with the family feast. I'm not an adventurous but decided to get the whole fish. It was amazing!! Pricey but worth it for the experience. Loved the ambiance and had wonderful live music. We weren't hurried or pushed.

Food, service and atmosphere are all excellent. They had three fresh fish choices for the day, and again all were prepared differently and excellent. The band playing by the pool also added to the grade atmosphere.

Food was good...once it finally arrived. We did not get our first course, oysters, until an hour after we ordered. Main course came 15 minutes later, but only after we asked about it. The food was on its way to cold. The couple sitting next to us got tired of waiting and left. Don't recommend this place unless you plan on lots of drinks to make the wait go by. Note: Restaurant was not busy, many empty tables.

What an incredible find. After eating our way through the islands this little hidden gem did not disappoint. Unique location, incredible food options, warm hospitality, and very enjoyable music. Make sure to order some of their signature dishes.

The food was very enjoyable especially the fish. The oysters did not taste fresh and clean. Very fishy after taste. I feel the sides that comes with the fish are over priced and bland. That being said, we still enjoyed our time at your restaurant. Excellent service and attitude. Thank you guy's.

Had an amazing birthday dinner here! I had the octopus, oysters, and blue marlin crudo. Delicious, fresh, out of this world. Singapore sling has great as well as the banana pudding and coconut sorbet. And the manager and waitress were so welcoming and informative. Loved everything about jt here. So happy we found this place—we will be back!!
