Been to many Okazu places the hours of this place make it convenient. Also the mom and pop that own and run it are likely to be in their final years. Doesn't look like the kids are taking over. That said the okazu items are on the expensive side. The quality not so great. Didn't like the inari cone sushi. The rice was too vinegary. The fried chicken was good but very expensive. Everything else was just ok. I bought two plates 2 shoyu chicken, chow funn, fried noodles, tamago egg 2x, 2 fried chicken, hot dog, 2 corn beef hash and it came out to $47. And you thought Gulick and Fukuya was expensive. But if you're craving for okazu items at 2am this is the only place open.

Overall a decent place. The guy serving us was nice but a little gruff. The food was okay but not worth the price. If you're feeling nostalgic it's a good place, if you're looking for amazing food and good prices, try somewhere else.

This refined guy/ owner is so sweet! Opening at 2am has got me open. After a night of shaking it I love to go to Mitsubas to taste it. He knows my order- two garlic chicken, two cone sushi, 1 lunchen meat & 1 red hot dog for my puppy. I wonder why he remembers me maybe because I pay in ones

A quick grab and go Okazuya stop located in Kalihi. Parking available in the front. Tried some simple items, Inari and garlic chicken. Inari was huge! The Inari was a bit overly marinated..very strong taste. Garlic chicken was ok, very salty as well. They put the chicken with the Inari so the sauce from the garlic chicken was soaked into the Inari...which was more saltier. It does open early in the morning..or maybe really late at night.

This review is short.I didn't think the food was all that good. Although it looked appealing the taste was not. My nori ume musubi was dry for the rice. The Saba fillet was a bit fishy for me. The fried noodles seemed to sweet. Even the Nishime but I was able to get pass that. I did however enjoy the hash patty.Sad to say I don't think I'll be returning soon.So sorry

I came here to buy some of their sweet potato crumble, but they ran out. Figured since I was already here, I might as well but some food. Honestly, I felt that the food didn't look fresh or appetizing, but hey, support local. I ordered 2 plates of cone sushi, noodles, and 3 other items like a hot dog, a hash, etc. I was floored when I was charged $37. THIRTY SEVEN dollars? This better be the best tasting hot dog ever. The hash doesn't even look like okazu style hash. Never stepping foot back here.Just posting to let others know that this is not fine dining, but they charge like it is. Outrageous prices even with inflation, its way too much.

Same quailty of food since my first visit. Sadly the prices have gone up enough for me to frequent this place less but honestly the prices before were too good for how the economy currently is. Still a decent deal tho.I mostly come here for the breakfast plates and sweet potato crumbles. Most other things arent too great imo and maybe that how it is and I dont like it. Chowfun is a bit flavorless, cone sushi is too wet, garlic chicken is a bit dry but has decent flavor, fried chicken is decent. Again I go for bfast plates and sweet p crumbles. Hours are still great as they open at 2am. Compared to K&K at 6am and Gullick at 5am and mitsuken at 7am. Tho K&K and Gullick have more days open during the week. FYI you will come out the store smelling like it and feeling a bit greasy haha.

They make the best sweet potato crumbles in the whole wide world.

Poor service, expensive food and was not treated like a valued customer. Under previous management this place was awesome and the go to when in the liliha area, but now it is the place to NOT go to. Save your money and eat across the street, mistuken or gulick.

Food was below average. They are charging a service fee for credit card transaction without prior notification. Breakfast menu is double from across street. This place really changed. It used to be my go spot. There was also paper changes on their prices shown on their board.

Drove in morning traffic from Makiki to come here to get food for a birthday celebration. Stood there waiting and the man did not acknowledge me. About 5 mins later, a heavier set woman walks in, and he acknowledges her and serves her right away. What kind of prejudice is this? I left to get food at mitsuken
