The Bahn mi sandwich was delicious. The interior is beautiful. There is an impressive black and white mural on the side wall of daily life in Vietnam. So realistic it may trigger flashbacks in a Nam vet. But to most people it may not. Impressive art work and interior. Highly recommend eating inside.

I got their 2 choice plate Garlic rice 5/5 Yellow curry 4/5 Garlic chicken 5/5 Flavorful. Rice was cooked perfectly. The curry was pretty ono (delicious) and the garlic chicken actually tasted better than Mitsukens garlic chicken and I'm not even kidding. Portion given is decent for the price you pay. I believe it was like $13 The service was awesome. I was welcomed once I walked in by an aunty that was prepping veggies. She said if I had any questions to just ask when ready. Ambiance was pretty casual, the shop itself was really small maybe can fit 3 customers. Seating is available right outside in the halls. They also have a bahn mi station right outside as well to the right of the shop. If you're ever in the downtown area at Pioneer Plaza, stop on by and try these guys out. I was told the pho is good but tad bit on the pricey side.

Love this place! The owner is very friendly and helpful. The food is delicious and there are alot of different choices for any appetite. Mini plates are big enough to fill you up. The regular plate, I end up taking most of it home. They have a great grab and go selection to choose from and everything is fresh!

Love their menu choices of "grag and go" for lunch downtown; vegetarian and vegan options available. Food is fresh, satisfying, and delicious. Price is fair. Condiments available, no charge. The place is clean. Service is great. Owner, staff are friendly and always greeting the customers with a smile. Love this business. Recommend.

Passed by this place to drop off some paperwork. Inside is beautiful and spacious. Lots of places to sit if finding in. They offer not only banh mi but also pho and okazuya style of Vietnamese and thai dishes. Would come back if in the area.

BEWARE. Question if proper refrigeration is being used with the outside display case. Recommend this place be inspected for compliance with food safety.

Just an update to my previous review. I inadvertently put it under the Fort Street Mall location whereas it should have appeared under 1003 Bishop Street. Also, since I prefer to support local businesses, I decided to purchase one of the few items left after the lunch rush: a Tofu Salad with peanut sauce on the side. When I got it home I discovered it was 2/3 romaine lettuce with a couple of baby tomatoes and about 10 slices of braised lemongrass tofu. The cost was $14!! As much as I want to continue to support them, the cost for a salad of mainly lettuce isn't going to happen again.

Decided to wander up the road to get some Chicken Pho because I was feeling a little under the weather. Yup, it really hit the spot!!! The food is always fresh and yummy! You can order inside or outside where they have the bahn mi sandwiches and salads.

Their food on the hot line could've been hotter. I had the garlic chicken and sweet & sour fish and half garlic rice, half pad Thai. Edible but nothing to come back for.

Terrible attitude. Stop by once in a while and today I dropped by for a quick grab n go for lunch on my way back to the office. I couldn't really hear what the lady behind the counter was saying, there was confusion about which of the chicken box I wanted and the wrong dressing for my salad. The lady mutter a quiet insult, must have figured I couldn't understand what she was saying. Started out as casual grab n go and I left disgusted. Also, the pricing has gone up each time I have gone, too overpriced to justify value of the food received.

great banh mi sandwiches (as well as bbq pork and lemongrass chicken), cold vermicelli bowls, and green papaya salads!

we were walking in downtown Honolulu and wanted coffee. This was the first place we came across. I can't say that the coffee (latte) was the best I've ever had. It had a bit of a bitter (or possibly burnt) taste. It wasn't bad and was certainly drinkable. It just wasn't amazing. Service was fine and it had nice seating outside.
