Best Irish pub on the island. Completely traditional, even table shuffleboard, great drink selection, and fantastic food.

Good place, but the St. Patrick's day menu is very limited. They had Caesar salad with sweet chili salmon but no fish and chips. Pretty disappointed.

The service is amazing, you feel like they are very attentive to details. My favorite thing about a place is the comfort of room and if the waiters are refilling my drinks. Got the Gaelic Steak with all Green Beans. I chose to hold off on the Mash Potatoes but it looked amazing. I’m on low carb, otherwise I would’ve got it. Convenient Paid Parking lot across the street. Overall experience was great.

We came in for St. Patrick's Day Lunch - while I did like the atmosphere, I did not like the seating arrangement. We were basically sitting with our table neighbors. Food was alright. Limited menu, prices were very high. Our waitress could have been better; and I do not appreciate the automatic 20% added gratuity. Nowhere was that stated, we only found out when we got the check. While we are good tippers, I do wish to decide the amount of tip myself- depending on the service. This today did not deserve the 20% and therefore left us very upset.

The pub has absolutely no ability to split a bill. I decided to join a Facebook group event for St.Pattys day with people I never met before sitting at multiple tables. They bring a hand written bill saying we owe $600 with non-negotiable tip of $90. The bill was not itemized and the staff was rude when I asked for help trying to figure out my portion and pay. So if you plan on splitting the bill make sure everyone keeps track of what you order and bring cash.

Great food and atmosphere on the diner side! I had the fish'n'chips. Not as good as back home (Samoa), but better than a certain overpriced fish'n'chips located at Pier... Besides the food, I loved the stained glass windows, the chandelier and the wood paneling as well!

Hostess (/food runner?) with short multi colored hair and tattoos was very rude to my husband and I on my very first experience there. She didn’t greet us at all so I just politely asked for a table for 2. She proceeds to ask if we had a reservation which we did not. She throws the menus on the table and walks away without looking back. Luckily our waitress was a LOT nicer which was a redeeming part of our visit. However when the food came out the rude hostess asked who had the first plate, and then proceeds to just throw both plates on the table (not even in front of any us). I noticed that she was very kind to the table sitting across from us so she probably just had a personal issue with me lol. Such a turn off. Food was ok, waitress was very sweet, but we’ll be spending our money elsewhere.

I was a little hesitant to try Murphy's Bar and Grill. But I'm so glad that I didn't pass on it. Located on Merchant Street, you can test your luck with street parking. Or there is a parking lot located directly across. Which is fairly priced. As soon as you walk in, the host is so friendly. (Which is hard to come by nowadays) We were seated right away, we got in right before the lunch rush. Our waitress was personable and when I asked for suggestions because I had trouble picking from the Shepard's Pie, Irish Dip and The Pastrami Sandwich (that was on special that day) I had an even harder time picking. But I decided with the classic well known Shepard's Pie. I was not disappointed. The lamb was incredibly tender and the side salad was fresh and simple. I'm already day dreaming of the Shepard's Pie, and can't wait to come back to try the other two sandwiches. Great experience, and even better food! Thank you Murphy's !

Lived here for many years, heard about Murphy's, but never came to eat. Came here on a Friday and was shown to our table. Was given a heads up that normally you'd have to make a reservation for lunch on Fridays but we were lucky to have a table available. Our table ordered the fish & chips, asian chicken salad, and an irish dip. Everything was devoured. I had the irish dip. The meat was tender and tasty and the bun had a great chew. I read about the pies and was I surprised. We took a pecan pie and a chocolate cream pie to go. Got home and had a taste. The chocolate cream was rich and creamy and the crust was flaky. I'd take that over a a well known Wahiawa chocolate cream pie any day. Will definitely come back for a great sandwich and pie on a Friday!

We came here semi-regularly pre-COVID and loved it. We came back tonight and it was such a let down. Service was mediocre. Fish and chips were SO SAD. Frozen unseasoned fish for sure. We came here specifically for the fish and chips so it was so disappointing to see they had changed so drastically in such a bad direction. Also got chicken Marsala, and the chicken, pasta, and veg were all severely unseasoned. Both entrees over $20 for poor quality and flavored food. Sadly won't be coming back
