Excellent onigiri with a good variety to try. Some familiar and others adventurous. The staff is all very sweet. Please try them as a snack, meal, or appetizer for the many yummy eateries available nearby.

This place is LEGIT! 3 different types of rice to choose from: organic white, organic brown, organic ancient black fleck rice. Also LOTS of flavors. we tried the standard: Salmon, ume, authentic ume. not for the newbies. Salmon, yum! This is going on my must visit each time in Hawaii. My daughter is taking some for the flight home.

All I can say is these are the perfect beach snacks. I highly recommend walking to STIX and going to Nanamusubi for handmade, delicious and fresh musubis. The women making the musubi are friendly and talented. I took mine to Shanghai Bar (a couple of spaces over in STIX) and then bought more to take to the beach. My favorites are the spicy leaf and the salted plum.

I've been wanting to try this since I arrived in honolulu. This place is located on 1st floor inside Stix food hall. The ladies that make them are still real japanese. They are very sweet and polite. I asked especially make one for me which is the salmon and ikura with black rice. Ahhhhh....so good. They made it fresh in front of you. The rice is warm and chewy...I like it a lot. They have a promo 2 musubi + green tea for $7 which is a very good deal but doesn't apply on the one I want. I will come back for more next time. There's a seating area in front of the nana green tea Cafe or you can enjoy it standing or to go. Btw it's individually wrapped.

Masubi was tasty but the seaweed is an extra charge of 30 cents. The people were nice. Place has lots of seating.

Real Japanese style musubi. Flavor is awesome. Can't wait to go back and try different flavors. Great service.

My favorite restaurant in DoCo! This restaurant offers very comfortable seating, amazing service, and delicious food. My mom and I came here for lunch to catch up with each other, and they were so helpful in choosing what to eat. Our server had plenty of knowledge about the source of their ingredients, and offered great suggestions that fit our palate. The meats used in both of our sandwiches were very good, and the cuts were generous. We caught up for almost 3 hours, and they were very considerate not to disrupt our conversation. We will definitely be back for dinner. It does help that the cocktail was strong and we very much appreciated that.

Absolutely AMAZING omusubi! My husband and I got the mentaiko mayo, salmon ikura, and chasiu mayo. The mentaiko was both of our favorite and so good that we had to go back for round 2. The green tea is also super fresh and a must-have!

Shockingly good. My favorite was the mentaiko mayo, but the pork chashu and salmon ones were sooooo good too. The green tea had an amazing roasty flavor. I am coming back.

A perfect quick snack for those on the go! We finished our massages in the same complex and decided to check out the Asian food hall (STIX) downstairs. This little stand sells rice balls made with a variety of organic rice options- white rice, brown rice, and ancient black rice. We opted for the kelp with black rice ($3.45). Quality was decent and I liked the bits of seaweed. Workers were also pretty nice. If you write a review on yelp or google, you also get a cup of green tea on the house. Yay freebies!

On my most recent visit, I got salmon with organic ancient black rice. If you haven't tried the black rice before, you should try it. In my opinion it's even better than brown or white rice. All the rice though is great quality. Service is always excellent and is quick. Next time I'll be trying their salmon and ikura.

A convenient and delicious takeout spot in central Waikiki. This was the perfect snack for us when we were out shopping/going to the beach but wanted to take a snack along. The onigiris were packed with ingredients, but be sure to purchase the seaweed on the side if you want that, the onigiris do not come with it. The service is great, they will help you decide if you are having trouble. It is a quaint little stand in the Stix Asian Food mall, and located right across Nana's Green Tea so you have a beverage to take with you.
