A part of me wants to put 1 star so people don't take all the good stuff early in the day!! (JK I wouldn't do that). The food here is amazing. I could literally eat here every single day for lunch if possible. I have tried numerous dishes and they are all amazing. The question is what do you like to eat? Absolutely phenomenal! Vic is amazing and she always fixes the best plates <3 Amazing chef.

We were looking for a plate lunch. The Google app said that this food truck was nearby and had five stars. I can’t argue with the rating. The food was delicious. The portions were nice and the price was phenomenal.

Been going to Nickys Wagon for about 2 months M-F. Her family recipe for each item she serves are each amazingly flavorful. I've tried about 90% of her entire menu at this point, and I have to say her maxed 5 stars review is well deserved. Food tastes great, her portions to price is unmatched compared to everywhere else ($9 for a full big plate)! If something on her menu is running out, she will give you another choice of anything to work with you. Her mac salad I highly recommend, best on the island in my opinion. You won't regret coming here.

Nicky's is still as good and she's still as friendly!! My go-to's are the garlic chicken plate with noodles/fried rice and mac salad and the roast turkey plate. And my kids love the spam musubi. But you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Line is usually long but moves quickly! Plus, at least you can stand in the shade while in line.

Very few lunch wagons are legendary, and Nicky's is a part of that elite list. I used to eat at Nicky's decades ago when they fed loads of hungry drivers/cargo workers/anyone in the know by the Airport. They moved years ago to Mililani st downtown right by the post office. The daughter was just a toddler when I began eating here and now she runs the business. She works hard, provides exemplary service and the plates are onolicious! Fresh, hot and the flavors are always dependable, so your fave will always be just as you'd hoped. Support this classic food truck, but please save some beef stew for me!!!

The good 'ol yellow lunch wagon on Mililani St. between the DCCA building and the courthouse (Kamehameha Statue). Prices are so reasonable and the food is sooooo good. Get here early because the line gets long fast and they sell out quick. Love that they take credit cards. Also random things like sliced grape tomatoes in the mixed greens salads, and perfectly cooked rice (not dry, not mushy) are little details that are much appreciated. My coworker worked in the area for years and didn't know about Nicky. Now our weekly (and more) go-to for lunch.

There's something about bone in Shoyu chicken that gives more flavor than boneless chicken. I ordered a mini Shoyu chicken and noticed that it was bone-in chicken. I knew right away it was going to be the bomb!Nicky's Lunch Wagon parks on Mililani Street between the King Kamehameha statue and DCCA building. If you work near by, this lunch wagon is a must try. I am not sure what the hours are but you need to be an early bird because they do sell out most of items by 12:30pm. The regulars will buy everything. I did come after that time but I was able to get a mini Shoyu chicken. The server, who is very stylish by the way and very neat appearance, asked if I wanted to try little bit of papaya chicken since there wasn't enough Shoyu chicken. That worked out perfectly because I got try two items. Papaya chicken reminded me of chicken long rice dish and it was good. I really liked their Shoyu chicken, the local comfort food. It was made perfectly. $8 for a mini plate is totally affordable. It came with some toss green salad and one scoop of rice. I think you can get fried noodles but like I mentioned, you have to come early. Finally, I am not too big of a lunch wagon fan but this lunch wagon is an exception just because the server lady is super sweet and nice. She runs a very neat and tidy truck. Come on down and see it for yourself.

Great tasting food at a low price (particularly nowadays with the inflation). My go-to lunch spot at least once a week. Parks conveniently next to my work place in downtown (Mililani St) on most days during the work week from around 11a to 1p. Highly recommend!

$8 lunch plates are u kidding me??! Usually this place is on mililani st during lunch time but the other day it wasn't there. :( Tried again yesterday (Wednesday) at around 12 and it was there. This place always has a line but it moves super fast! She has everything ready to pack up quickly in a lunch plate so you don't have to wait for anything to cook! And yet the food tastes fresh and so delicious.Ran out of the spicy fried chicken so we got the mochiko chicken and she was nice enough to add the spicy sauce right on top. Do not sleep on the potato Mac salad. It's probably the best I've had and it's kept real nice and cold! The chicken was cooked perfectly and everything went together so well. I will definitely be coming back because $8 is a crazy deal for all the food you get! Love this place!!!!

Awesome local style lunch wagon with great food and super friendly staff. I love the garlic chicken and the shoyu chicken is the softest and moistest. Portion size is perfect and the price is out of this world! Also have to mention the variety is extensive with many many options unlike some other wagons with just that "one thing" or with very few choices. Nicky's has something for almost everyone's mood. Will not be disappointed, they need to go brick and mortar for sure so I can enjoy this food 24/7 lol.ps. my 6 year old daughter says their spam musubi is the best musubi she's ever tasted! Sure she is young but she is definitely a musubi connoisseur lol so I believe her!
