absolutely delicious, staff was amazing and kind ordered for family of 5 and off the happy hour menu

Was not impressed at all by the food. The yakisoba cod was smoothed in way too much sauce. The garlic clam was way too garlicky. Oyster shooters was drowning in cocktail sauce. The dynamite I don't even know what was going on there. Could not taste the actual seafood in these dishes.

This restaurant's price was reasonable, and the taste also was delicious.I recommend you

We enjoyed our meals here. Great food and wonderful people. Misoyaki Butterfish melts in your mouth. I was going to rattle of great food we had here, but that would take too long. I don’t think you will have any bad or even an average dish here. Go and enjoy yourself! Highly recommend.

Best bang for your buck meal in Honolulu! Food is delicious and the 2 entree meal is massive

The food is amazing. At happy hour, you get really great combo deals. The salmon was really buttery, but the dynamite roll was a little salty. Everything you can ask for at a sushi restaurant :)

we found this gem on yelp. after a day of the beach we wanted some sushi. we didn't want to eat on the busy side of Waikiki so we wanted to drive somewhere that had some great reviews and we were happy to come here. we had reservations so that make things a bit easier since it was a packed house. got seated right away and was given menus. tons of selections to choose from. we order some fried stuff, California rolls for the kids and some raw stuff for my sister. food came out pretty fast even though it was packed and omg it was really good. parking on the streets makes things a bit easier. definitely come back and check them out if yall in the area

Found this place through Yelp a few months back and recently visited for date night (again). This place is a rare gem in town for good Japanese food and drinks. Not your typical traditional ambiance, but more of a restaurant and bar with a private dining area in the back, seats at the bar, couple big screen TVs, but also cozy booths and regular tables as well. But, I'm here for the food lol. Their teishoku is more than reasonably priced for the amount of food you get! And I love eating teishoku, so they can get pricey at other Japanese places. Like normal teishoku, it comes with miso soup, salad, edamame, and rice in addition to your two entrees of choice. The salad dressing is yummy! This second time around I still ordered my usual--butterfish, but dynamite-style (must try!) with assorted tempura. The portions for each is A LOT. I can normally eat my entire meal, but here, I have to take home leftovers. You get twice the serving of fish, and the tempura--oh my gosh! They give THREE shrimp tempura, a piece of fish tempura, AND assorted veggie tempura. Like I said, this is a lot for teishoku, and I don't like to waste, so I'm always glad to bring it home. They have a variety of sushi--nigiri, rolls, and even sashimi. A couple next us in a booth had a beer tower with their meal. Full bar with sake, soju, and other specials, can't go wrong with that! Customer service is good. It seems like there are a lot of employees and they all help each other out. Someone isn't too far if you need something. There was also a couple of large parties, so it's a good place for groups. I plan on bringing my mom and rest of my family here for the next occasion. They are open for dinner and are open late on Sundays, too (I think 10pm?) unlike other restaurants that close early on Sundays. Hope their hours will change soon so they're open during lunch again. We lucked out on parking both visits during the weekend and were right out front on the street. But, since they're on the ground level next to part of 24 Hour Fitness and below Hawaiian Brian's, there's lots of parking in the vicinity!

Been coming here for years. Food and service has always been good, though sometimes it can be slow and I'm okay with that. Parking is tight. Three spots out front, street parking when available, and I believe there is paid parking in the structure. Definitely enjoy the oyster shooter and any of the sashimi. Located on the ground floor in the same building as 24/hour fitness.

Our grad night dinner was a relaxed affair at this small restaurant. It wasn't very busy and we were seated quickly. Our orders were also taken pretty soon as we were seated. Unfortunately, my order was brought to the table long after the other members of my family, so if I hadn't ordered an appetizer I would have been left just sitting there as everyone else was eating. We had the fried oysters, the butterfish, the California roll, and the katsu menchi. All the dishes were yummy and the warm sake I had was very nice.

I went here with my family for a night out and the food and beverages were all wonderful. We had a wide assortment of dishes and all of them were delightful. My family had insisted I try the oyster shooters and I was skeptical at first but they had great flavor and a nice variety of texture, and weren't slimy like I'd expected with raw oysters. The wait staff were attentive and always seemed to check up on us right as we needed them. Later in the night we ordered more drinks and I wanted a mojito which was not something on their menu, but they do have a fully stocked bar. The drink they came back with wasn't quite a mojito. They didn't have fresh mint so they used ginger instead, but it was absolutely delicious and I was very pleased with it! I asked for another a while later and the second time they added fresh cucumber to it, which made it even better!! Very refreshing and delicious. Definitely a top notch place to go to, highly recommended.

I was so excited to eat at my first sushi spot as a visitor. Our waitress was kind of rude as she was giving attitude to our table. The food did not taste good at all. I was very disappointed. My friends and I all got sick.
