This is a store that feels like it caters to locals rather than tourists. The rice noodles are so delicious and the banh mi baguette is also crispy. There is also a Vietnamese restaurant in the Maunakea market food court next door, and although I don't know about the other menus, the banh mi was the same price. It was nice to be able to relax and have a quiet meal at a restaurant rather than a messy food court. The owner, an elderly couple, is friendly and although the price is not cheap, they do not charge a separate tip. I was completely satisfied with the bathroom being indoors.

The food here is absolutely phenomenal. We had a veg/ tofu and a shrimp Pho- the best I've ever had and the portions were huge. The spring rolls and combination banh mi sandwich were also amazing. The only thing that would put the banh mi over the top is a touch of pickled carrot. I'm nursing a cold and have a long flight tomorrow and I think the pho broth has me feeling better already? We ordered via uber eats and at times the packaging, temperature and texture of the food can be hit and miss with delivery- but they also did a perfect job in that regard.

Broth just wasn’t that good. When door dashing I ordered two Beef Pho $45 but they gave me enough vegetables and sauce for one. This is the first spot I’ve h got my pho with more broth than noodles , veggies and tiny portion of meat. Won’t order here again. Not for the price.

Really good pho - fragrant broth and good flavor. Meatballs didn't have tendon - which I prefer. Combination porn sandwich was really good. Mom and Pop place. Service was really good. Typical pho place. Wasn't too noisy either. Friendly & local atmosphere.

The only Vietnamese restaurant in town who serves banh khot and they make it legit with the coconut milk and everything! It's nice and toasty/crispy on the edges and comes with your herbs and veggies as well as the nước cham sauce. They're always so friendly and accommodating. Parking can be a hassle, like it is for any business in Chinatown. They also serve my favorite Vietnamese refreshment/dessert, chè sâm bổ lượng.

Review on food only as it was take out. A friend offered to get/drop off lunch for me from here. I asked for Bun Mang Vit (Bamboo Noodle Soup w/ Steamed Duck). It was $17. As soon as I saw the soup container with only 3/4 broth I had a bad feeling. I've never had only 3/4 broth given for any Vietnamese soup dish. How would it cover the noodles I thought...then I saw the noodles. Oh, cause it was a small handful. Then came the duck...a few good pieces n then a lot of skinny/bone pieces. It made me feel like I got what was left. Save time n $ n go to Pho Vietnam Hawaii 5 mins away for better quality n quantity for about the same price.

The only place with banh khot and banh beo in Hawaii. So delicious and awesome. Authentic and you can't find these dishes at most places - it's not common. The banh kot come out steamy hot and fresh. Same with the banh beo in those tiny dishes. It's in Chinatown so expect the usual hole in the wall vibes and passing by the unhoused and mentally ill but that's the city for you. Park in the paid lots scattered all over or find street parking. They accept credit cards.

I LOVE THIS PLACE SO MUCH omg I cannot emphasize how good it is. Ok so I have eaten pho is maybe 4 different Asian countries and this one still slayed and it was so amazing. I was pretty hungover while eating it the first time and it immediately cured me. Then we went back again and it still hit the same. I went with 4 other college students and all of them lovedddd it. So if you are a college student visiting Hawaii you HAVE to come here. It was pretty cheap compared to other options that I saw, the portions are nice and the staff is so sweet, and obviously its so yum. Ok that's all I have to say but yeah pls come to this restaurant.
