no fireworks here, pretty ordinary viet standards. there’s a noticeable trend of price inflation in this area, i’m a math guy so the calculation does not add up, i don’t want to dictate what proprietors want to charge, but i just want to note that the value proposition is no longer valid for many vietnamese restaurants in ohau. but i suppose if that doesn’t matter to you, this place is just fine.

Prior Covid, we always come to Pho 1 whenever we visit Honolulu. Now taste not as good as before and much less meat. Worst it is super expensive $19.5 per bowl of Pho with this taste and quality. No

This is a place I usually visit because the menu is varied and the soup is good. However, when I visited for the first time in a long time, I was very disappointed. The rice noodles were so salty that even after pouring in a full cup of hot water, they were still salty. I also omitted the basic vegetables such as bean sprouts, and because my companion was allergic to peanuts, peanuts were poured into the food even though I asked for them separately twice. They kept refusing to give me the drink I ordered, but on my third request, they said it was out of stock and told me to just bring it to them and drink it without even asking. They said they would understand that the server didn't speak English, but they didn't feel sorry for their mistake or apologized and just told them to take care of it. The food is not good and the service is worst. A place I won't go back to

Pho 1 says it in the name. Number 1 on these Islands. Pho 75 in Falls Church, Virginia is still the best, but this place has the mojo. When the original cash only owner left, his daughter’s reign was just as if not more superb if not the best Pho 1 will ever be, this place crashed over a cliff. The current owners resurrected the shambles and is pumping boss level food and service.

Pho One, nestled near Ala Moana, stands out for its remarkable convenience. The restaurant boasts an impressive blend of exceptional Pho quality and top-notch service, all within a welcoming and comfortable ambiance. I'm eagerly anticipating my return visit; the overall experience at Pho One is simply outstanding!

Went with family for the vegetarian options. I'm a big meat eater, and their veg plates were fantastic. Had 4 veg dishes, spring rolls, a veg soup, and a clay pot. Service was great and atmosphere is clean and generic.

Welcome to PHO ONE Vietnamese Resturant on Kapiolani Blvd located in the residence area of Ala moana tower building, been coming to this spot for a bit now and this is my go to spot when I'm craving PHO, I've notice within the past year or so like (2021/2022 or so) theirs new OWNERSHIP at this PHO ONE. Things have changed like their menu books and some dishes I've notice, but still okay I'd say also the ambiance has changed totally the new owner change the whole decor but putting up a lot of plant decor and other things. Service here at pho one is good I'd say but could be better I'd say for me 80% of the time when I'm dining in I'd have to ask for more WATER or MORE NAPKINS. I just feel like the staff now need to come and check on their customer more often as usual. But other then that everything is okay. Would I recommend this PHO ONE spot to other people to check out - YES of course I would recommend it to other people also their parking situation here is good free parking in front of the Resturant and some stall under the residence building area. This new version of Pho One has apparently been under new ownership for about a year. It's clean, bright and pleasant with music playing in the background. The menu is extensive with lots of choices including some Chinese dishes. Prices are a little high but food is good-fresh, they are generous with with condiments and service is friendly. Our server Yen was warm and personable. Three of us shared an order of summer rolls and the Vietnamese Shabu which turned out to be the best deal in town for $35. It was the same price for one person to eat hot pot at another restaurant. This one tasted sweet sour like a Vietnamese version of Tom yum. It comes with a big plate of veges including bean sprouts, basil, okra, peppers, and slices of a spongy taro like stem that we really liked. You get a choice of 1-2 proteins (catfish, shrimp, chicken, or tofu). I noted it was the first time I ever had pineapple floating in my soup which was not bad. It also came with tomatoes which I liked. We were happy with our healthy, reasonably priced dinner and still had leftovers to take home.
