It's chicken for dinner... Well some for dinner as I found myself in Hawaii Kai and knowing mom wanted some chicken thinking this would be the best option as it was pretty late and I wasn't in the mood to do a search. Raising Cane's is in Hawaii Kai Towne Center a lovely spacious location with lots of free parking a few just steps from their front door and as i entered the greet i received felt very warm and friendly and though their menu is very simple the staff obviously was aware I was unsure as I stared in the abyss trying to decide...stepped away giving me full view of their menu board which gave me comfort and not felt rushed. I ordered the Caniac which included 6 chicken fingers, crinkle cut fries, two Texas toast, Cole slaw and two Cane's Sauce...I don't do slaw and got an extra Texas toast instead so we don't have to share it lol! It all came just a few cents from twenty bucks but since I'm sharing it I thought it was well worth it and it came out fast and hot the quality of the chicken was just fresh and cooked perfectly. Definitely winner chicken dinner! Thank you!

As far as fast food goes, this is one of the best on the island. The chicken is choice breast pieces with a light batter that is deep fried just right. Best fried chicken on the island (better than those other ones, yes). The fries are homey and tasty. The sides are ok: Cole slaw is not special. The sauce is ok, basic ketchup mayo with some paprika and maybe other spices. The bread is excellent.It’s fried chicken, but overall it’s a little lighter, a little tastier. The kids love it as well. I wish they’d work on the coleslaw, maybe make it a little less mayo based?

The employees are so nice!! Always polite and helpful! Chicken always so nice crispy on the outside and soft in the inside. Sauce adds great flavor.

The service is great. The food is always fast and fresh. I love the three disco balls in the dining room, which is funky enough to go with the Elvis painting in the corner. Crinkle cut fries can't beat that baby. Oh and the lemonade. Oh, sometimes I get a lemonade sometimes I get an Arnold Palmer. Both delicious.
