A must stop when visiting Oahu. Amazing food, Spicy Ram is my favorite. And they have a super kind staff.

It’s closer to a Chinese soup base just with Japanese egg noodles. Noodles were soggy. Heavy on the MSG so make sure you hydrate with lots of water. Don’t expect great service and MAKE SURE you read the sign that it’s $18 minimum charge (pre-tax) per person or else you might get into an argument with the service ladies. Not the worst spot for late night dining in the busy streets of Waikiki.

A ramen shop that has been around for a long time.I went here for the first time in a while, but I was disappointed that the taste had gone down ?There is only a counter inside the store.During the coronavirus pandemic, the partition between the seats next to me was still in place.Apart from the fact that the price has gone up,I just couldn't get the noodles that looked like they were boiled at that low temperature.Why did it become so inferior?As the number of other delicious ramen shops is increasing, I hope they continue to do their best.By the way, the noren curtain that says Tomoaki Ogura's store was still hanging there, is that so?

We had the miso, spicy and oxtail (no photo) ramen, the broth were on the light side and the noodles were a bit soggy. Nothing stood out. Price was acceptable though compare to all the pricey food around the area.

First of all, the oxtail bone had little flavor but the soup was salty,the ramen was very average. We didn't enjoy any premium service, yet we were charged 18% service fee, which was charged straight away and no hint was given to be the first to tell us about it. Also, the store was very small as we had to sit person to person, which can be very intimidating if you are a sociopath. Therefore, we didn't leave a tip after we left as we had already paid 18% for the service, but about a second after we got up, we were shouted at straight away by the waiter to stop and demand that we had to pay an extra tip, all the customers looked at us and I have to say it was a very scary experience. I felt uncomfortable and my spirit was shattered, it prevented me from sleeping at night so I was not allowed to give a review the next day, I hope you will not have the same experience as me.

There are open seats available but they just keep people waiting outside for a long time.

If you have already tried delicious ramen in Korea or Japan... I added egg topping and it just came out as a hard boiled egg... .;;;;;;

Parking: You have to park on the street.It's visible on the way to Waikiki, so it's easy to find the location. There may be a wait because the space is not wide.I ordered Spicy Ramen ($20), but it was disappointing because the taste was average for the price. There is no deep flavor in the soup and it is no different from eating instant ramen at home. Still, there is a lot.The fried rice I ordered as a combo was also bland, so it's okay to eat it with soup. The fried dumplings were the most delicious.
