The food was good but when it was time to pay the bill we did and when we left the store a server or manager chased us out the store and forced us to leave tip, we were in there for less then 20 minutes and all our server did was give us our food and waters so we felt that there wasn’t anything special or unique about the experience to leave a tip mind you leaving a tip isn’t mandatory it’s just a nice thing to do! won’t be back again.

Fast and friendly service in Hawaii Kai. If you want a quick, stomach-warming lunch or dinner, this is the place for you. Not too many comfortable sit-down restaurants in our community so it's nice to support a long time restaurant. Yes, it's not fancy but you always know what you're getting. Staff always welcomes you and thanks you when you leave. Good variety of ramen and sides. The standard ramen serving meets my needs but many people order the combos and everyone orders the side of gyoza. Take out is reliable and well-packed.

We came during happy hour & got 4 free gyozas with each entree! The portion sizes are massive. It was hard to choose what to get. I ended up ordering the Spicy Seafood Ramen. My kids got the Chicken Katsu Ramen and the Crispy Seafood Noodles. My sister orders the Black Garlic Ramen. I will be ordering it next time! It was delicious. They helped to box up our food for us and all. Very friendly people! We loved it. We will definitely be going back!

Thrilled with my first visit to Ramen Ya! The spicy seafood ramen and mini chicken fried rice were delicious, with generous portions—we couldn't even finish. A pinch of salt enhanced the ramen soup, creating a delightful flavor. The pleasant atmosphere and attentive servers added to the positive experience.

Ordered again my favorite pork fried rice and it is still great! Huge portion that feeds the two of us two meals. I also tried their deep-fried oysters and their katsu spam since both intrigued me. I wasn't disappointed. Both were excellent! We always do takeout and have never had a bad meal. Food is always ready on time.

Love the "set" with gyoza and ramen. Fried rice huge; good leftovers. If ur a Ramen fan, this is a good stop. Ambiance? Just a neighborhood ramen shop, clean enough/ seating limited.

Nice people and good food. I recommend the Wonton Soup (Combo B- wonton soup, some gyoza and a choice of side order out of 6 opts) or the regular Wonton Ramen.
