Boy has it gone downhill in quality and up in price. What used to be $120 is now $170. The Sunday and Monday early bird specials aren't worth lining up for anymore since most of the food has only a 20% discount instead of the usual 50%. In addition, they now charge an additional $7.50 "Sansei Kitchen fee' and automatically add a 20% gratuity based on the price of the full price of the meal without telling you. So an inattentive diner could end up paying even more than the full non discounted menu price.I hope it was an off night, but the crab ramen and shrimp dynamite were way too salty, and the noodles were inedible. The flower sushis were 50% off, but instead of a flower with 4 or 5 "petals" of sushi, there were only 2 pieces each. The miso butterfish is still good, but over $20 and comes with 2 small purple pillows of rice that were also too salty. Fortunately, the caramel Dutch apple pie is still delicious and 50% off during early bird specials even though it's form and presentation have undergone changes through the years.Overall, it was a disappointment, and made it less likely for me to make an extra effort to visit another Sansei Sushi until they go back up to their usual quality, get rid of the hidden "Sansei Kitchen" fee, and inform their customers there's already a 20% gratuity included on the bill.

It was a lively evening. The food was very good and the fish very fresh. Danny M our server was very helpful and informative. The tuna was fresh it was purple! Salmon was slimy and flavorful. We went early at 5:30 and grateful because we had everyone helping us. A helper saw the sun shining on our table, it was sunset after all and moved a partition by our table to block the harsh glare. As soon as the sun set a little farther they removed so we could enjoy the beautiful sunset with dinner. Felt it was reasonably priced for a Waikiki Beach view. A little hard to find just park at the Marriott and validate your self parking or valet park. Ask directions through the hotel then up to the third floor and walk towards the beach. Both DK restaurants are in the same area so walk to the back and you are there. Worth the effort. Great evening, wonderful service and very good food fairly priced.

My dinner was delivered to our table and we had a long wait before my husbands was delivered. I'm not a fan of eating if everyone isn't served at the same time. Mashed potatoes very bland. Everything else was delicious! They were out of sangria and hot sake.

The Waiter took 52 mins to get us our drinks and the place was 30% full and due to our group being 6 we had to pay 20% gratuities for horrible service.unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience from start to finish. The service was abysmal, to say the least.Upon arrival, we were greeted with indifference by the staff, who seemed more interested in walking around the restaurant than attending to customers.Once seated, our neglect continued. Our waiter was inattentive and seemed annoyed by our presence. It took multiple attempts just to get our drink orders in, after 52 mins we had to ask where our drinks were, when the drinks finally arrived, they were incorrectThe food, when it eventually arrived, was mediocre at best. It was evident that little care went into its preparation, and it certainly did not justify the high prices on the menu.To top it all off, when we tried to address our concerns with the management, we were met with dismissiveness and rudeness.Overall, I would strongly advise against dining here. The appalling service and lackluster food make it a complete waste of time and money.

Dimitri was our server and he was amazing. Super laid back and chill but made sure he was on top of our service. He and t he e manager went above and beyond for us- we were celebrating our one year wedding anniversary and this dinner was great. Oh, and the food was excellent as well.

We made reservations here at 7:15… At 7:40 we had still not been waited on. The place is an absolute mess. This review is as of 4 March 2024. Do not go here let them go out of business. They ruined our night. The wait staff was rude, and it seemed like they ignored us out of spite.
