Best Mexican food I’ve had on island so far. Amazing enchiladas, the green sauce is to die for? Rice & beans tasted fresh and delicious. I ordered take out but the atmosphere looked cool and very appropriate for a Mexican restaurant on an island.

Taco Tuesday and I had to go to Serg's for tacos. You can't just live on tacos so I got a burrito which came with rice and beans. Since I'm there a quesadilla was also calling my name....$2 street tacos on Tuesdays from 4p-9p. Great neighborhood spot for Mexican in Manoa. So happy I moved here. The staff are friendly and know how to have fun.
I went on my lunch break. I waited 30 minutes for my order, I didn’t had much time to eat or enjoy my order and they forgot my side order. The girls working are rude and there attitude stinks. I regret tipping them. I was a regular there but they think they’re so busy there , they don’t need customers.

The food was wonderful but they're very understaffed at the moment and it took an hour for our food to come out. Next time we'll call in the order in advance, even if we're planning to eat there, like we did this time.Parking: There's a small lot next to the restaurant where you can park for free but it didn't have a lot of spaces. Manoa Marketplace is close by though and has plenty of parking available if you don't mind walking.

Such a great location and friendly service. I wish the food was better. Not that it's terrible or anything...it just misses the mark on occasion. We've been a few time and find their Manoa valley outdoor dining to be a charming. Counter service is fast, efficient and warm. Recently we ordered the Chicken Enchiladas with Spicy Green sauce. The chicken was well-cooked, shredded white meat with some nice flavor. The tortillas are store-bought but ok. The spicy green sauce was really unbalanced. Overly salty...pronounced garlic flavor and hints of habanero that just didn't seem to work. The refried black beans were tasty but dry. The Spanish rice bland. We also ordered chips and salsa. Chips were good with a homemade flavor, but the salsa is just meh. Again...it's not all bad...but I suspect they have been the only game in town, especially for Manoa valley and they need to venture out and see what other Mexican places are doing. I still love Serg's and we'll go back but perhaps with lowered expectations.

Don't waste your time or money, the cashier's are rude! The aqua fresca is bitter, carne asada is chewy and has no flavor, the horchata is not fresh!
This is the best Mexican place on the island but it's not like eating in Los Angeles Mexican food. It more like 3.5 better than average for the island. I got the chimichanga's with carnitas. The carnitas was moist but so fried, to me it was like a chili verde. The fried burritos was fried but not crispy enough for me. The Al pastor burrito was good but kind of salty for me. If I crave Mexican I'll probably be back, the weather is much cooler so if you come for dinner bring something warm. It has a great out door area and parking.

Placed an online order. Supposed to be ready in 15 minutes. Been over an hour and still no food. I see people place orders in person and get their food many times over......what's the problem! Don't do online ordering if they are going to get forgotten and disrespected. Staff made me feel like I was the one with the issue. I spent $75+ and after a hour....still no food. Ridiculous. In all honesty, I only went here because Los chapporos was closed. Last time I am coming here. Understand being short staffed and slammed but a hour + wait is unacceptable......and many people are getting their food before me. You can tell I'm irritated....and still no food.

Best Mexican food I've had on the island. Staff were friendly, they have a cute outdoors shady eat in area and restrooms are available. Happy hour eats as well.

Eating at this little hidden gem will feel as if you are in on a huge secret (almost) too good to share. Serg’s is not too expensive and the food is consistently good. Hole-in-the-wall restaurants represent the democracy of the food world - it doesn’t matter if the restaurant is in the trendiest neighborhood or has lavish decor. This is a must see while on island. There is plenty of parking. It is BYOB. If you are craving authentic Mexican food while in Hawaii - go check out Serg’s.

I got steak burritos, tastes good and big portions. Their taco salad also good but Menudo on the flavorless side.
