I really enjoyed the food I ordered here. The service was very good and the flavor was excellent! I tried the cat fish and the crisp and light batter on it was so good!My friend who grew up in Tennessee loves their chicken tendies, bbq pulled pork and their Mac and cheese ! She says their Mac and cheese and honey mustard sauce tastes so good it’s like Jesus Himself made it! Yeah!!I’m coming back to try other things for sure!

Authentic tasting Southern BBQ. Sometimes the specials run out but the wings were good. Fast service. Lots of dining space, can't wait till they expand the menu.

The most flavorful wings are served here. No other wing place can compare. The only problems is you have to have military base access to get it and the hours. A coworker told me about it and I had to go check it out. The restaurant has plenty street parking available. You will also find a seating area before you enter the restaurant. The workers are friendly and super nice. They gave me time to look over the menu and make a selection. Of course I had to try the wings. I ordered the mango wings, fried fish, shrimp, collard greens, mac n cheese, and ribs with the kool aid. The kool aid sells out fast. You will definitely want to get there early. Once it's sold out it's gone until the next day. The wings were everything from hot, fresh, well seasoned and not too spicy or sweet. I was licking up my fingers tearing these wings up. The rest of food was just as amazing. You will have to make yourself not come here. When you try it you will be soo hooked on the flavors.

Wings are busting with flavor! If you're a wings fan, you owe it to yourself to try these. We had sweet hot, and glazed garlic.If you're on base give them a try, you'll be glad you did.

We've heard about this place last year when passing through the AMC Terminal in Hickam. Unfortunately it was after hours. This time around, I think it was fate since our flight was delayed during lunch hour. It's a small place but people who worked in the base must have all known about this since they line up patiently to order. I got the oxtail with a side of BBQ beans and my wife got the wings with a side of corn. Man, I couldn't wait to eat that food. The oxtail was the right tenderness and served on a bed of rice. You can tell it was slow-cooked with the right spices. I knew then what everyone that lined up knew all along, this was great authentic Southern food. If you are in the area, and have base access, you need to give them a try!
Chicken is....UNREAL....AWESOME!! The tastiest and most delicious chicken i have ever had. Period. The only draw back is that if cannot access the base, then you are SOL.

This is the best place on Oahu for southern style cooking by far. The seasoning is perfect in every dish and the portion sizes are good for the price. Just keep a pillow handy for that post meal

I loveeee this spot. I usually get lunch her when I'm at work since it's pretty close. The owners are super friendly . My favorite day is Thursday because it's oxtails day!!!! But everything else is super yummy. My other favorite is the catfish plate. I usually get everyone from works order as well so this day they ordered the catfish plate, jerk chicken and some lemon pepper wings and oxtails of course. They said it was good and the only comment was wished they gave more oxtails. My go to spot for lunch!! I suggest calling in your order because they get suuuuuppeerr busy and I'm impatient so I don't like to wait. They also do online order and sell koolaid .

This review was tough for me. I only go for breakfast but the bacon breakfast burrito is fantastic. Especially with the hot salsa. Only issue is it can take 30 minutes sometimes. I've had luck going around 7:30am where the crowd is less and wait is faster. 8am is crowded. But food is good.

I've been to this restaurant multiple times for lunch and the food is always good. However, every-time i go for breakfast they never have fish and grits which is so disappointing because their catfish is so good.
