Good hole in the wall place though I've come to terms with only liking a few items. I've tried quite a few things here and always come back to the lechon (minus the onions and tomatoes). And it never disappoints! Today I had the shrimp katsu on recommendation from a coworker, and while it was prepared well, the sauce covering everything was not my favorite. The lechon and the brisket items are winners and items I'll def order in the future.

I had the bento and I'm not a spam lover, so they were able accommodate me and sub it with another hot. Awesome, Mahalo for the great grinds..

Visited this food truck during the Lokahi festival and let me tell you, I have no regrets picking this trucks! We got the town and country to get a variety of things. It was $20 but worth it because of the portion. The shrimp Tonkatsu was DELICIOUS. So crispy and pairs very lovely with the noodles. The noodles are on the sweeter side (which I enjoyed but others may not) and very flavorful! The rice was the perfect texture. The beef was nothing to run home about, I thought it was okay but my boyfriend liked it with the rice! I saw someone else subbed it for a diff beef which I would probably do if I came back. Overall, SO GOOD and would get it again! Worth the price!

Talk about a little GEM in th It's super clean from the moment you walk in! Not too much extra stuff inside! From the moment we walked in CUSTOMER Service was amazing!! I really had to use the bathroom, they were so open and showed me to their bathroom. Ordering was real easy, the hardest part is deciding what you want to eat! Their menu is pretty big they have a wide variety of options, their prices are very reasonable. If I'm not mistaken the most expensive plate was $18. So we ordered the smoke meant with fried rice it cost a little over $13 The portion size was huge, swear it weighted a good 2-3lbs. The smoke meat was so flavorful, and SOFT!! It WAS NOT chewy like most smoke meat! The onions was fried just right, not over cooked still had crunch when you bite into it! We also order the lechon kawali The pork was super crunchy on the outside but the meat was soft in the middle. The tomatoes and onions were perfect to pair! Served also with dinner roll and toss green. Loved that they don't put your dressing on the toss green. Okay time wait was not really long. Need I remind you the people working were so friendly, and talked story the whole wait. Oh and before we left they gave us some pastries! Pastries were a variety of pizza, custard, and roast duck manapua! All the pastries were moist and soft. And filled with lots of different flavors and textures!

Decided to order a pie last minute for New Years Day and they graciously took my order and had it ready New Year's eve! $15 for an ube custard pie was a very reasonable price for the quality and taste. When I say this pie was a HIT at the party!! Can't wait to try other things from their menu!

We go to the Sand Island location whenever we can. The food is always good! You need to follow them on Instagram for the specials. You never know what the chef will come up with. Today, we picked up the shrimp katsu slider and da manapua truck special. Just the shrimp burger on a bun would be good. But, no, the burger is topped with a generous amount of imitation crab, taegu, and their dynamite sauce. Flavortown! Da Manapua Truck Special is a hefty serving of their ono fried noodles with a big, boneless, juicy fried chicken thigh. The chicken has a thick batter, which is not a bad thing because it's well seasoned. As if that's not enough, there are two Vietnamese pork hashes. This gingery pork and vegetables dumpling makes this plate lunch kinda exotic. Don't ignore their regular menu. My favorite is the chopped steak over fried noodles, but, really, everything is good! If you're lucky to be there on a baking day, try the butter rolls. These are the best in town!

I got the guava smoked pork belly and it was the best thing I've ever had, 10/10 recommend! Big portion sizes for the price too.

We're taking it to the streets, Str'eats of Aloha that is! Located on Sand Island Access, be mindful on where you park. As convinient as parking in front the establishment is, Long bed trucks usually park right alongside the parked cars & I had to wait about 10 minutes or so before the the long bed truck left before I was able to return to work. But that's beyond the establishment's control but wanted to give you guys a heads up. Anywhoo, this place give big portions at affordable prices! Had their str'eats bento: furikake rice, spam, hot dog, teri beef, fish katsu, breaded shrimp, & char siu fried noodles. Every item that was supposed to be crispy was (fish katsu & breaded shrimp), supposed to be juicy was, & flavors were bountiful in eat bite. & the meat to rice & noodles ratio was perfect! There's seating but come early as the tables were full by the time I picked up my phone order, I believe there was about 4-5 tables. Because of the front having generous large windows, natural lighting goes in the place. Staff was very friendly & accommodating as well. Check them out for lunch today!

I bought food at this truck when I went to this Halloween fair in Moanalua, then again at the Pearlridge Night Market. Love their food, but when I saw them at Kakaako, their plates were $2 more, so I'll wait for when they are in the leeward side. Although the price is high like any other food truck or restaurant due to inflation, they give a lot. Fried Noodles - 5 stars - for $13, I got a mound of noodles in a regular sized lunch plate. Lots of charsiu, and the noodles have a sweet taste to it, which is perfect for me. I would buy this over and over again. Town and Country Plate - 5 stars - for $20, I had very tasty teri beef with 2 delicious shrimp katsu over their delicious sweet fried noodles. I had to share my plate because of the amount they gave. The quality and quantity of the food is worth buying again. They have a sign that they are located at Sand Island Access Road, but I haven't had the chance to visit the area to find them there. They are very nice, and a bit of a wait since they only make it after you order, which makes the food taste fresh and ono. Lots of parking since I ordered it at several food truck events.

If you can't wait for a food truck event to find them, they have a shop on sand island access road! I got the mix plate so to sample a lil bit of everything and it did not disappoint. Enough to feed 2

The food was tasty as usual, but the service today was not something I would want to experience again. We called in our order 40 minutes before we wanted to pick it up. We were told that they were estimating about a 35 minute wait from the time we called in. By the time we got there and stood in line to pay it was now 20 minutes past our pick up time. That was when we told that it would be another 15 more minutes before our food was ready. Well that 15 minutes became 30 minutes. So from the time we called in our order to the time we received our food was 1 hour and 30 minutes.I will return, but maybe I should arrive 40 minutes after the time I'm told it would be ready.

Great service, food I'd amazing an filling. They give really good portions here worth every penny. Luckily when I went they weren't too busy but I know it can get there an it would be so worth the wait. I got the fried noodles an honey chicken an the whole plate was enough for me an ld my 3 kids. Totally recommend this place for a great filling breakfast.
