Ordered a prime grade NY strip. Was more like a Select grade. Had to spit out a piece of gristle 3” x 0.5”. Lots of connective tissue, very chewy texture. Kitchen should have caught this though. $85 for a low grade steak. Also my wife’s tuna entree was a few thin slices, more like an appetizer. Otherwise was not bad but expect great for the $650 bill.

Not worth the price point. Ate at the bar / staff were EXCELLENT. Steak was okay. Not a condemnation just a warning that the value isnt worth the money in my opinion.

The staff is awesome and knowledgeable about their specials. Our server kept our water glasses filled, which in the heat of hawaii is a blessing.I’m sure people will tire of my endless praises for StripSteak Waikiki.

Had to visit Stripsteak after my great experience with them last year. Celebrated my one year anniversary and the food, atmosphere and service was great. It's a bit pricy, but definitely worth it for the quality of the steaks and service. They often came by to check on us and refill water and such. Also, once we placed our order, love the three dipping sauces for their fries. I'll be back anytime I visit Oahu!
Exquisite... the fries as bread service was an unexpected delight!. Great wine pairing offered by our amazing waiter, and the filet was outstanding. We shared the sides of mashed potatoes and the chopped salad. The potatoes were so creamy and delicious and portioned generously. The salad was prepared with care and fresh and satisfying, already cut to bite size pieces. The ambiance was so lovely and the whole experience was special. Looking forward to coming back to Waikiki and eating here again. If you want to splurge and enjoy great food and fabulous service, this is the place!
My experience as a whole was fantastic. The customer service we received was on point recommending wine pairings with each part of our meal. When our food came it was perfectly done and the sides as well. The three of us very much enjoyed splurging on this meal.

The salesman (bartender/waiter) was overly aggressive and trying to upsale us. The steak (Almost 200$) was incorrectly cooked 2* and we waited almost an hour to eat. He made snarky comments about my GF wanting a medium or medium well steak. I understand the chef/kitchens reluctance to do that, but we are paying customers and it’s ultimately up to us. Apparently they dont have beer on tap? The beers listed came in a can - I paid 10$ for basic IPA. The only redeemable thing about the meal was the brussel sprouts and fries given instead of bread. I wouldn’t of paid for the meal at all but my gf just wanted to go home. We will be disputing the credit card charge, IT WAS THAT BAD

Everything is the best! The location, drinks, food, and service are all amazing?You can enjoy a happy time. If you get carried away, you will end up paying too much, so you have to be careful.Both the oysters and tomahawk are delicious. There is no strict dress code, but you can enjoy the atmosphere better if you dress a little neatly♪

Great experience at this restaurant. I tried the tasting menu and enjoyed it. There was more than enough food and I had to get leftovers even though I didn't even eat that day. The fries are a substitute for bread service but were definitely an upgrade.The location and atmosphere were excellent. The service was outstanding, the table was really well serviced by all the staff, among the best I've seen. The bathroom is nice too.The restaurant is expensive, but if you want a nice night out, this is definitely somewhere that's hard to beat. It reminds me of the Ocean Prime restaurant chain.
