We've relied on Subway before for a small, important gathering. Years ago, we had visitors from Japan visit Church of the Crossroads. Mom made the last-minute decision to provide a simple, light, satisfying lunch for church members and friends. Subway delivered as Mom had envisioned.Now again, we call upon Subway to help deliver a satisfying light lunch for gathering participants. This time once again, our visitors are our Japanese guests from the Tohoku (northeastern Japan) and the U.S. mainland.Once more, we are counting on Subway delivering.

Worker said that I wouldn't be able to get extra vegetables. The whole point of subway is pay for the meat and bread and vegetables and adding on vegetables are free. Definitely would not come here again, it's not hard to make a sandwich, but somehow they made it hard.

It's all about the fixinz...This isn't your bougie sammie but it does give you the option to create your own though I guess it's been awhile as I wasn't quite ready for some of the menu changes like Pickleball Club, The Boss, The Great Garlic and how about the The Mexicali.This location in McCully usually is pretty mellow rarely do I see more than one other person ordering so it's a short wait which I okay with more so the menu changes got me thinking a bit just when I thought I knew what I wanted. There is a couple of young men and they were polite though when I ordered standard asking for type of bread which was wheat declined to ask if it was footlong or six inch went straight for the footlong which wasn't what I was thinking then again I can share with mom...whatever.Got the Hotshot Italiano loaded with pepperoni, salami and all my favorite fixing it was nice as he was loading items like lettuce verified it was enough or too much for my liking.There is free parking in the teeny tiny lot in the back and is having it is very convenient on this busy street where parking can be a struggle so that option makes it easy to grab and take home your sub.Thank you!

Stale bread is served here. At lunchtime I ordered two footlong subs on wheat bread (not toasted) through the Subway app just before leaving to pick them up. I arrived about 10 minutes later and brought them home, one for lunch and one to eat later for dinner. Noticed the bread was kind of hard when I removed the wrapped sandwiches from the paper bag. I realized the bread was not fresh and was probably a day or two old as it was very dry, especially at each end. I checked my second sandwich and the bread was of the same poor condition. I tipped the sandwich artist when I placed the order, I regret giving them any extra money. I love Subway sandwiches, but this location or worker does not do the brand justice. This location also charges more for their menu than some of the other locations in Honolulu. Very disappointed, they ruined my only two meals today by being either lazy or cheap.

Really not much to report, it's just a sandwich as you would expect from any Subway.
Parking in the rearor I park at Longs and walk over.It was a Saturday, but I called SUBWAY's business line to hopefully be able to place my order over the phone, because they are not that fast and ALL YA would get more irritated then I by the perplexing fact that you have to repeat everything, every answer multiple times. Everyone of their questions to you that they ask has been clearly answered by thyself multiple times. It is not just one of them employee's or manager nor possible owner: its like all of em. After you say what you want at least (5) five times for every possible item, they shouldn't get it wrong. They seem to try to drive the constant questions over and over again so they can get you frustrated and then you start to clearly exasperatedly POINT to the item and strongly vocalize the color or the item as well. {Note: saying (2) from your left in the center row and that it is green: green pepper = will not help nor ring a bell or make sense to anyone there but you flyness)Things that make you go UHMMMM, "are they doing this on purpose to mess with people or are they trained too or are they living in a challenged world or is this how they make themselves feel like they got over on someone or does this technique bring in more money, like a HO would try.

Subway now has a pretty exciting menu to check out. Love subway!. Healthier options along with speedy service. Customer service was on point with being awesome!. Bang for the buck and I feel good about it after. Not all sluggish compared to other fastfood joints
