Got breakfast here today with hubby. We each got the combo and it was very delicious. The staff are super friendly.

Bad experience today. I ordered a Hot Pastrami Melt and the lady who took my order didn't even bother to ask me what kind of cheese and instead proceeded to ask me for what sauce I wanted. I informed her I wanted no sauce on it before it gets toasted to which she asks again what sauce. She was not getting it and was showing annoyance towards me, so I reiterated my order: Hot Pastrami Melt on Herb and Cheese, Pepper Jack Cheese and bell peppers and onions to be added when toasted. Upon completing the toasting process, I asked for mayo and jalapeños as a finisher to which I was told by one of the other workers to let the lady know next time that I wanted it toasted so she doesn't cut the bread all the way through. I said out loud that I did. And she retorts back that I confused her because I said Hot Pastrami MELT and and then said TOASTED. It's literally the same thing. It goes in the oven regardless. I did not appreciate being treated like I didn't order correctly when I took the initiative to repeat my order. I understand, we're all wearing masks and may have difficulties understanding each other but that is in no way a reason to show annoyance towards your customers. I was not annoyed and did not mind repeating my order until the lady started complaining about the way I ordered. They weren't busy, there was only one other person behind me at that time and so there's no excuse for acting like I'm wasting her time. Just a word of advise from someone who works with customers daily: doesn't matter how your day is going, it's never an excuse to ruin other people's day. If you didn't understand it the first time, ask. If you're having to follow a very specific protocol, then say so. Don't give me dirty looks and make me sound like I'm an annoyance and at fault when I am clearly stating what I want to order. With regard to the food, didn't taste as good as I remembered so probably won't be getting it from this Subway again. Leaves a bad taste when the person who views you as an annoyance is the one making your food.

On occasion, there has been a few times where I have received bad customer service from this restaurant located at Tripler Army Medical Center in Honolulu, HI. From sloppy sandwiches, to chunky (not chopped) salad, it drew a bad taste for me on Tuesday, July 7, 2020. There have been a few times where I went to this restaurant and they have informed their customers that they are out of bread, all before 2:00pm HST. On this day, Tuesday, July 7, 2020 it happened again. The employee told the customer in front of me that they did not prepare enough bread for the day, and to make things worse, she was laughing about it like that was acceptable. With that being said, I asked if there were any wraps available. The same employee said yes, and I went on with my order for the "Meal of the Day." The employee told me that I would have to pay a little bit extra since it would be double meat. I politely declined and said I would only like one serving. She insisted that I had to have it with double meat and there was no other option. As soon as she said that, another employee said that I could get a single portion of meat, however I would be charged at the double meat price rather than the "Meal of the Day" price. Here is my problem, why must I be, in a sense, penalized to pay for something as a substitute because they employees at this restaurant failed to provide an adequate/full menu for customers. There has been times where I refused to accept a sandwich because they poured too much sauce or seasoning(s) and requested to have it remade. I believe this restaurant need to be retrained because it is evident that their customer service and food preparation need a serious adjustment!

When in there today and got a few things. The lady that was checking me out was the most rudest and nasty person I have came across. I have been a lot because of my job. Thinking she was having a bad day I ask a few co workers and learned the blonde lady is this way a lot. I found out no one likes dealing with her and tries not to use her line. Made a comment to the main exchange and was told they hear alot about her but would not going into detail about why she still working there. If you go avoid the blonde Hispanic lady.

This Exchange is located inside Tripler, on Ocean side on the way to Food court. You do not need a military ID to shop here, as long as you got thru the entrance with a sponser. They have snacks, drinks, some food and lots of cards! I actually bought a Valentine's card for my husband here and it is cheaper than the retail price.

It’s Subway...the convenience of this location makes it popular, but like most Subway shops the menu is nothing new and it’s food if you are need something to eat. The service was decent and the close proximity of the Starbucks was an added bonus. Overall, this Subway is a solid 3 / 5 stars.

No one else in line. 1 woman counting chips 1 man behind counter. Ordered coffee. Man could only find 2 creamer. Asked woman counting chips if there was more. She stood up and pinted behind counter to cupboard and said more in there and went back to counting chips. Seemed very out out to provide any help and tone was less than welcoming. I remarked she wasn't very nice. She responded she was doing inventory. Ok. I'll be surevto stop by again

Standard subway experience. Can get busy at times because of the limited food options at tripler. People are friendly and fast.

Free Wi-Fi. Password provided at counter. Free all you can drink refills. Excellent deal of the day 6" & 12" Subs. Good variety of chips for the deal of the day. Honors coupons; check out the Subway App or subscribe to the emails for deals. Often though, their regular offerings on the menu are just as good and just as cheap. Flat screen tv in dining room. Clean bathrooms on site. Family friendly with plenty of table space and room for strollers. Outdoor seating with umbrellas. Very sweet customer service. Very popular with Hospital staff and service members during lunch and dinner. Line moves pretty quickly, though. Accepts credit cards. Starbucks is in the same food court (coffee afterwards!). Down a half star because wish there were more napkins readily available, and that the tables were wiped more frequently (only because appears to be understaffed a good deal of the time; the people who work there do try but there's only so much you can do when there's only a few of you). Overall one of the better Subways. Recommend if you are visiting Tripler.
