Superb Sushi did their live sushi bar at our party recently and everyone loved it! We've known Superb Sushi for many years and they always provide quality food and service. Kevin, the owner, is great and it is so easy to make the arrangements - we didn't have to worry about a thing! Highly recommend them for any function!

Our family loves Superb Sushi and we love Cy! Every party we do sushi bar, and we do it with Superb. They come like an hour prior to our event to set up and prep things. We usually do it at our house, so just make sure they have a parking spot when they arrive. The sushi is made fresh and made to order. Even the tempura bar is made fresh to order. I love how great Cy is, and how friendly he is. He always takes care of our family, and he's good fun! I definitely recommend Superb Sushi for your next party needs.

Superb sushi is the place to go to for your party needs. When it comes to sushi they have various platters available to choose from. You need to order in advance as platters are prepared for the day of your special occasion. This assures that the seafood is fresh. If you really want to add to your occasion and make it extra special they have can set up a sushi bar at your party. It is always a hit at a party having someone prepare sushi for you. If you're looking for something like this inquire with superb regarding cost for this as there may be a minimum requirement.

Our company previously hired them to do a "live-sushi" bar at our event, was a big hit! Having the sushi chefs roll sushi right in front of you was also fun to watch!Also, great sushi platters! (but you must pre-order, as they primarily do catering now) They're my go-to place whenever I have to bring food to a party. Their sushi platters are always enjoyed by everyone.Definitely recommended!!!!

Story time! Needed a last minute sushi platter for Father's Day... I called the morning of and spoke to Mahi. She said she had to ask the sushi chef if they could fit my order in since it's usually one-day advanced orders.... She called me back within the hour and luckily they could make it! Yay!They had exactly what I wanted - The Assorted Nigiri Platter, but I asked if they could substitute Ebi for Unagi or Hamachi. She said they can sub Ebi for Unagi. Great!When I pre-paid over the phone, I noticed there was a double charge of tax on my credit card plus a credit card fee, so I called back and Mahi was able to correct it, but I still had to pay 3% credit card fee. She said they accept Cash, but since she's only working half-day, no one would be working the register when I arrive so can't do cash payment for my order. Ok, that's fine.My curb-side pick up time was 4:30pm, and Mahi said to call the number on the building and someone will come out with my order. I arrived early at 4:00 and the gate was locked and no one was answering the phone. We drove around and called back at 4:15, still no answer... drove around again...4:25, noticed a car parked in the lot and the gate was open. I tell them I'm here to pick up my order, but they said they don't work here, they're just the tenants who live upstairs!! ?? Oh really?! Ok....So luckily one of them (nice man) called the owner Kevin, and said there's a customer waiting outside for their order. I knocked on the locked door. Then saw an Asian man dressed in a white kitchen apron walk out from the back, but he motioned to me "Closed". Then I say, I'm picking up a catering order!"The tenant asks, "Where's Vida?!"Then suddenly a lady runs out to open the door. I say, "You didn't answer the phone?!" She opens the refrigerator with my order and asks for my name and asks me which one is my order...? There's 2 other orders in the fridge after mine so they did know people would be there... I tell her it's the 4:30 pick up - she let's me check it...Alright, everything looks good! I sign her copy, get my receipt and bounce!Presentation and taste was great for what I wanted - Father's Day sushi at home. Price was $99 plus and tax & cc fee = $106.77 for 40 pcs nigiri.Would I order again? Not sure... was kinda disorganized, but glad I got my sushi and it worked out... decent 4 star sushi to say the least! Still have other sushi spots to venture to!

We catered with Superb Sushi for my daughter's graduation party. We didn't want a big party so we had it at our house in the backyard. We still wanted it to be a little better than a bbq, and my daughter's favorite food is sushi, so we initially thought of catering some platters. We saw Superb offered a sushi chef experience. I wrote it off immediately as being too expensive. No, I didn't look at the pricing but my wife took the time to look at the pricing. It was surprisingly reasonable. It came out to $20 per person with a minimum of 40 people. We invited 45, so we went for it.My daughter was excited at the thought of having an actual sushi chef making sushi for us. When Superb arrived about an hour prior to the start of dinner. Jay, our sushi chef brought everything with him, we just provided the table. I think he had a table, but since we had one set up, easier to use ours.The fish was fresh, the rice was delicious and the whole experience was amazing. Jay was great, very friendly, polite, and quick. Everyone loved the sushi.We finished off all the sushi and everyone was full.I can't recommend Superb enough. You will not regret your choice.

I wanted a new experience to celebrate my sister's birthday. She loves sushi and turns out she always wanted to have a party with a sushi chef - so as a family we set it up. I spoke with Kevin and he was really friendly, down to earth, and helpful in answering all my questions. On the date, Kichi and Alex (2 fantastic sushi chefs) came early, set up in our backyard, and were ready to cook for us for our scheduled 2-hour all-you-can-eat buffet. We chose the Sushi and Tempura bar, and let me tell you--everything was delicious, fresh, not oily, crispy/crunchy, and made to order. My sister and all our guests loved it - it was a hit! I would recommend anyone interested in an all-you-can-eat sushi experience with your loved ones or for a party, to call Kevin today and schedule something with them. I LOVE SUPERB SUSHI!! I've been coming here for poke bowls for as long as I can remember. If I'm in the area then I'm going to Superb. I've never had their catering for myself. But I've been to events that used Superb for their mobile sushi/sushi catering and it's really good. If in Kalihi I suggest you try their food. Won't regret it!!

I called 4x between 11:30-1pm on a Friday, each time it rang several times and then went to voicemail. I wanted to place an Order for pickup tomorrow. I guess they are so busy they don't need more business. Their parking lot is tiny and inconvenient. I like their futomaki sushi, it's tasty and reasonably priced. If they would just answer their phone I would give them 4 stars.
