I ordered two dessert pies which tasted excellent. However it was pricey, $13 each for about a 5 inch pie. Owner was very nice.

Just tried Sweet Revenge for the first time and was amazed. Had the Halloween themed Peanut Butter and Pumpkin pies and both had a balanced, fluffy, not to sweet filling, crunchy and delicious toppings, and a perfectly flaky crust. Highly recommend!

They have amazing desserts here. I was lucky to find them at an event. I tried the lilikoi flavor & their strawberry... both were great, but the lilikoi was definitely something to come back for. I will be keeping my eyes open for their pink food truck & definitely pick up a couple for sharing. Delicious!

I tried a chicken pot pie at the Blaisdell Farmers Market last week. The pie crust was perfect--buttery and crispy! There was a lot of chicken in the pie, however it was slightly too salty. I still recommend Kathy's pies!

I saw a news report prompting their fun Star Wars-themed names for their pies for May the 4th Be with You day. That was just the push to get me to order the Porg (chicken) pot pie and the Lando Calamasian (calamansi lime and lilikoi) pie. Their pink truck goes to different farmers markets, but you can also order online to pickup from their base in Kalihi or get them delivered if you order enough. I placed an order online to pickup at one of the farmers markets to guarantee my selections. They accept payment via Venmo online. Ok on the pies! Porgs are delicious! Just kidding the chicken was very good in the pie with big chunks of meat along with carrots and peas. This is not a soupy pot pie but that doesn't mean this one is dry. The meat was moist and I was surprised how much there was inside the pie. The crust is flakey and buttery. I was very satisfied with it and have not had a pot pie in a long time. It was comforting to eat. The calamansi lime and lilikoi (passionfruit) pie was also very good. Nice sweet and tart combination with the lime and lilikoi flavors. It seems to be a little more lilikoi flavored. The pies are on the pricey side being 5" in diameter and currently $12 each. That being said they are good and worth treating yourself every now and then!

For the past two Sundays, Ms S stopped by the Sweet Revenge stand at the Windward Mall Farmer's Market for pie time. The savory pies are the perfect size for a full meal - my fave was the Pastele Pie which is a great pastele stew in crust. And though I don't have a sweet tooth, the Chocolate PB Mochi Pie combined 2 of my fave flavors, chocolate and PB with contrasting textures - soft mochi, crunchy brittle, creamy filling (adding bananas would have made it 6 stars) while Ms S loved the Yelp Pie (the 5 strawberries form the Yelp logo), the pear and strawberry crumble and the local Key lime pie version Lilimansi which also featured lilikoi. Ms S also intends on returning this coming Sunday for the Mochi "bento"...

I used to always buy Sweet Revenge pies when she was at the open market on Ft. Street when I worked in downtown. But that was a few years ago. And now that I'm working in town again, I'm so happy I get to buy her pies again at the farmers market at the church on Makiki Street. I got the Chocolate pb mochi pie & the Yelp pie. I usually never eat chocolate but the mochi made me do it. Lol and I'm so glad I did because it was so good. It was like you were eating peanut butter mochi. The Yelp pie was really good too & I loved the fresh strawberries. I love that she always has new pies and ones that are so different from any other place that sells pies. Just as a heads up, give them some time to prepare your order as the sweet pies are usually made to order (meaning they put the topping on when you order it). The pies are pretty pricey but definitely so worth it!

I can't believe I haven't reviewed this business yet. This is a food truck (bright pink in color, called "Pinky") that's known for their gourmet pies, mochi, cookies, etc. all made with creative and local flavors. The food truck can be found at select farmers' markets during the day (find them on IG to get their weekly schedule and menu) or you can pick up their items at their kitchen in Kalihi during certain days/hours. I used to visit them at the Hawaii Kai farmers market every Tuesday afternoon, but sadly they're no longer there. Now I just place my order online at SweetRevengeHonolulu.com and pick it up at her kitchen in Kalihi. I believe they're open Wed. - Sat., 10am - 2pm as of March 2023. She accepts Venmo, which makes it real easy to order and pay. The owner, Kathy, is a hard-working lady who makes incredible desserts based on the season, so there tends to be new items on the menu each month. Some of my favorite items are:1. Lilikoi butter - they come in small mason jars. I spread it on a toasted English muffin for breakfast and it's the best thing ever!2. Sweet & savory pies - they're mini in size (I can usually eat one in two days). My absolute favorite is the lilimansi, which is a combination of lilikoi and calamansi that's poured into a freshly baked graham crust. It tastes like a key lime pie, but it's so much better! I also enjoy her chicken pot pie. It's filled with lots of chicken, gravy, carrots and peas in a buttered crust, and it's bursting with flavor!3. Mochi - it's not always on the menu, but when it is, I always order it! Her mochi comes in a bento box (6 pieces) and it's super soft and fresh. Rumor has it that she learned how to make mochi from her grandfather who owned Fujiya, which is my favorite mochi ever!I'm so glad I discovered her truck because it's such a treat to try her new items and to know that my tried and true favorites are always available. Check out her IG page for her food truck schedule and weekly menu: @sweetrevengehnl.

I ordered Frozen Chicken Hot Pies on Sweet Revenge's website. sweetrevengehonolulu.comYou fill out an order form off the website. You type what items you would like, pick-up time, place of pick-up, and personal information for example your name, email, & phone number. It's nice that they have a list of select days where the pick-up location is.After you submit the order form, you'll have to wait for a response via email for paymentI picked up my order at their kitchen in Honolulu on Thanksgiving. Quite a long line and wait but the staff were kind and working hard. Worth the wait. They had written the time & degrees to bake these pot pies and they came out great out of the oven. Chicken Pot Pies is a 5-inch-deep dish with carrots, peas, butter crust, and the chicken & gravy was made from scratch. They're small but very filling, delicious savory pies. The frozen chicken pot pies were $12 each. No complaints about the price because they made these from scratch. I would say the website should be updated more if new items are being sold.I would order from Sweet Revenge again.

Two words: Life changing Never have I ever eaten something, that 6 weeks later I am still thinking about! Calamansi Lime pie with Lilikoi crust. Are you kidding me. It was the best dessert I've ever had! And I make the best desserts at times folks say the same about. Mine stand far beyond/behind this masterpiece. It's a must have. Life altering, experience. I promise!

SWEET REVENGE FOOD TRUCK Pie inspired desserts and potpie! Specializing in mochi! They have fresh strawberry mochi! 6 pieces for $17. Or they sell a "mochi bento" with mixed different flavors 6 pieces for $15. All their mini pies are so yummy! Most mini pies are $12. In the picture is shown their strawberry mochi pie. It has pie buttery cookie crust, custard pudding, fresh strawberries slices, mochi bits, whipped cream, drizzled with chocolate on top! It was so yummy and fresh! Japanese women run this food truck business. They provide use of metal forks with a $.25 deposit. When you return your fork, they give back your $.25

1 star is for the yummy mochi that I pick up every month. No stars for the customer service from the owner herself. She only acknowledges people she knows or her "regulars." I would say I'm a regular myself if I'm buying her monthly mochi bento pack. Her and the worker need to acknowledge people in line waiting if they're both busy instead of having your back turned. This is the second time this has happened. Oh actually...yeah she acknowledged the person in back of me with a dog. She kept saying "I see you sweet boy." During my transaction, they're talking to the guy behind me with the dog and I'm asking her if I should leave the credit card machine on the counter or...... as if I'm interrupting her. Then I'm handed another device to sign and I'm looking at her to see if I'm good to go. She's throwing dog treats at the dog. Unmmm...okay idk why I even tipped for no service. I'm no longer supporting this business if customer service is nonexistent plus I can make mochi at home...literally 3 ingredients.

Stretched too thin. I understand that the pandemic upended the world but there comes a time when one needs to step back and re-evaluate their product. This is one of those times. I ordered a Lava Flow pie from the Blaisdell farmers market last night and threw half of it away. It was nothing like how I remember it tasting. At all. The crust was flaky but flavorless, pretty sure someone forgot to add a bit of salt to the crust because it tasted straight up like baked flour and butter. There was very little coconut flavor in the filling and five small chunks of strawberry. The purée was drizzled across the top but added very little flavor to the overall pie. It was the blandest pie I've ever eaten. What happened? Not gonna eat these anymore because this isn't the first time I've had a tasteless pie from here. Owner seems to be stretching herself too thin and the end product is suffering. Stick to Hawaiian Pie Company.

Ordered a couple mini pies during the farmers market at Windward Mall... By far the most expensive little pies I've ever bought! The wife loved the fresh mango pie and thought the lilikoi chiffon was okay. Would like to try the savory items if we see them again.
