We went for an early dinner before a concert. The setting, overlooking Kapiolani Park beneath Diamond was very lovely. There is complimentary valet parking beneath the restaurant which was fortunate as the street parking was full. Service was pleasant and attentive. The foie gras terrine was heavenly, one of the most delicious preparations I have ever had, a reason to return. The mushroom rice was also very tasty and quite different. My guest is vegetarian and we enjoyed the Brussels sprouts and carrots . The zucchini was the only dish that I found disappointing. I very much enjoyed the baked Hawai'i dessert . Apparently the chocolate brownie was also excellent. A very good dinner.

This was our first visit to Arden Waikiki, but it won't be our last! Lovely view of the park. Excellent service. Inventive menu with delicious preparations. All in all, a very pleasant experience!

No small or side salads available. Overall the menu is lacking in options. Had the lamb which needed a stronger knife and did not have the best visual appearance even though somewhat tasty (mostly the sauce). The fried sprouts were good but would have rather had a fresh green to accompany the meat dish. The dining room lacks a view and has limited operating hours/days. Dined while staying on property but will dine and stay elsewhere on my next Oahu visit.

The food was tasty and perfectly cooked. I did not like the prawn toast. It was more of a thin layer spread on toast, not a prawn cake as described by the waiter. Would not order that again.

We were celebrating our 28th wedding anniversary. We were a table of 6. The server explained that the menu was meant to be served family style but we wanted to order 3 appetizers for the table and then each person order their own entree. We ended up sharing everything anyway. We loved and devoured all the food. Top on our list was the Hamachi Raw, Ahi Spice crusted charcoal grill (medium rare) and the Kompachi steamed. These are MUST order items! We also had Kauai Prawn toast, Shishito blistered, Roasted eggplant with rice, mushroom sauteed with rice, seared zucchini and the Lamb lollipops. Next time we would not order the Lamb lollipops. They were a little overcooked and not worth the price. Our server was very professional and the atmosphere was upscale and lively. We would definitely return for more.

All the staff were kind and cheerful, always attentive to my table, making my experience comfortable throughout. The food lived up to the pictures I had seen and was even more delicious than I imagined! The interior of the restaurant was beautiful, and the dishes and glasses were clean. I will definitely visit again!

This venue has always been a very pleasant, relaxing place. The servers are all very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The food is excellent (the dishes we've ordered anyway): Kauai prawns, Hamachi sashimi, roasted cabbage, mushroom rice, white miso ice cream. Arden is relatively new but its two chefs, a husband and wife team (who came from another prominent Honolulu restaurant) are doing amazingly. The ambience, service and great food make this place a 5-star place.

Online menu looks limited but didn't affect the dining experience which was fantastic! Every dish was delicious and expertly prepared. Preston was the perfect server- knowledgeable, thoughtful, friendly and efficient.

We went early to enjoy happy hour prior to dinner. We had a delightful cocktail and Poke snack at the bar. The cocktails were well crafted and tasty and the Poke was exceptional. We seated for dinner and had a shared meal. We had a fois gras mouse appetizer that was truly exceptional. We ordered the evenings special of a Tonkatsued pork chop and a couple of sides. The pork was well fried but a bit under seasoned. It came with a small side of pineapple mustard the helped the flavor and made the dish much more than just acceptable. Service was prompt and warm. All in all a very enjoyable ecvening

Amazing! My husband and I were in Oahu for a wedding but also wanted to celebrate our anniversary. We ended up coming here on a friend's recommendation and fell in love with everything about it! Food was DELICIOUS

Tried new dishes-loved the kampachi and pork tonkaysu special. Asked for a little less garlic on the mushroom rice and for us, it was perfect! Appreciate Maryann's excellent service-really puts Arden over the top!

Music was too loud. Couldn't enjoy relaxing dinner with friends ... good conversations impossible with loud music. Waiter said they can't do anything about it. $70 steak came out precuts losing juice and heat. We told waiter that we are not sharing dishes. Waiter said they precut every steak. Food is mixed fusion between Hawaiian, American, Asian, so forth. Too bad. I had high expectations on food too. Mixed feeling. Can't say fine dining experience. I want this place to be successful but they need to make experience better.

An ambitious and forward-thinking menu paired with technical execution provided for a memorable meal. I wish the entrees came a little bit sooner to keep the pace of the meal as the starters came out quickly. Portions were very fairly sized. Ambiance was airy with warm wood tones. Parking was easy too. I'm surprised there were many open tables for a Thursday night. I prefer here to the Oahu Merriman's. Well done!

Food was amazing. Great presentation and unique flavours. Prices reasonable for the exceptional quality and quantity of food. We found this place our second last night in Honolulu and we enjoyed it so much we went back the following night. Friendly and attentive staff. Sunday evenings they have live music which adds to the ambience. Can't wait to return to try some of the other menu choices.
