Food was not the best bbq I've had, but better then expected.Service was outstanding and we did not even sit to eat. One of the workers, possibly the owner? Insisted we sit at a table while waiting. Even though he knew we would not be staying.Atmosphere was awesome. It is right on the water inlet, has a cool layout, and has corn hole.Parking: End of a grocery parking lot. There is plenty of parking to be had and many businesses to enjoy while waiting on food.

We were here several times and it always was nice. The food is really good! Yesterday though the service was meh. We had to ask twice for table cleaning, we didn't get the drink menu, had to wait for half the drinks. Even had to go get ourselves silverware after the food came. Maybe it's only on Mondays like that. We'll see.

We had the nachos and ahi dip on the way home from Costco in Hawaii Kai. The restaurant's location is quite relaxing, right on the water, and open air all the way through. The food was solid and we left no extra chips, however, our food took a while to get to us while just sitting on the ledge of the kitchen. Same thing with our beers, they took a while. Aside from the lack of speedy service the food and experience were pleasant and I would go back there for a full on dinner on the water as a first date place.
We dined there on March 16, 2024. Service, food and entertainment were excellent. Our server, Chris was attentive and friendly. I recommend the brisket. We really enjoyed our time there and will be back.

We've gone there many times and unfortunately they run out of brisket. This is during the early to mid evening time periods. That is something that has been consistent. The dining area is nice mainly because you're sitting at the waters edge.Staff for the most part are friendly and outgoing. I don't think we'll be visiting again since it's usually a "miss" for us because they are unable to anticipate patrons and their request for brisket.

Food not good, service was slow, fun environment though. It is on the water and they had a fun trivia game going. The burrito was pretty bland, the chips and salsa weren't good enough to keep eating, my shrimp had the tail and legs on still? So I had to remove all the shell and legs to eat which took off all the grill flavoring. Maybe that's a normal thing? ? overall we waited 30 minutes, weren't served promptly, and left not full.
I made a reservation and was put in the front door by the bar it was so loud that my family couldn't talk. The server was horrible! Our food was messed up our drinks came out wrong after ordering a beer I waited 10 minutes then went to my server and reminded him and it was wrong when he brought it. I brought my family member there for the first time and it was a horrible experience!
The food here is absolutely horrible. For such a great location I was stunned. My food tasted refried, the service was mediocre at best. I routinely had to ask for drink refills. There was only a few people in the restaurant. If you’re looking for a dining experience for lunch or dinner go to another restaurant.

I would have thought that a restaurant called Tex 808 BBQ would know how to cook and serve a smoked brisket. But I was wrong the brisket was super dry and hard. The corn and coleslaw was good but not worth $19.00I tried eating here when they first opened and I see they have not improved.
