This review is only for nighttime hours, as it feels a little uncertain in the dark due to its location. Lots of homeless people walking by. Other than that, the staff is friendly and the drinks are pretty good. The boba is cooked well and the drinks have good flavor. Free parking in a tiny corner location. Will probably only return in the daytime.

No wait when I came in the middle of the afternoon on a Saturday. I ordered the Signature #1 which is the Black Sugar Boba. It was not the best boba I've had or even close. The boba was mushy and clumped together so it's definitely not fresh. Also, I got a mix of regular boba and mini boba which I did not ask for so I'm confused why there was different size boba in my drink. The type of cream or milk they use in the drink must have been old too because it made my stomach upset a few hours later. I've tried other Tiger Sugar locations and it did not taste this bad or did it make me sick. The quality of this shop is really low and I would not recommend.

I had the popular brown sugar boba milk tea. The boba was fantastic, probably the best. I wouldn't go back because you can't control the amount of sugar in the drink, and I thought my drink was way too sweet.

Tiger sugar is definitely my #1 favorite place to get boba. I love getting the #5, Black Sugar Boba with pudding milk & cream mousse! It's not too sweet, and delicious. The boba tastes fresh and pairs perfectly with the pudding and cream mousse. This is always my go to drink from Tiger Sugar.

First off service was great, they were all kind and our boba came quick. If you like real taro chunks then come here. The brown sugar is also yummy!

They were super chill, the first time I went there I made a joke about coming back with a bag of quarters to pay and they said that would be appreciated.so I come back with 75$ worth of quarters and they counted them and exchanged them for cash and drinks for me and my dad. They delt with my silliness so for that I am grateful.

Take my grandson once every two weeks at the Nuuanu location! This place is friendly, cleaned and they do not shove the tip amount in front of you when presenting the credit card amount! Because of that I am a loyal customer! Bravo Tiger Sugar! The drinks are amazing and addictive!

I really wanted to like this shop, and maybe it's just me. My husband and I went to this shop after a funeral at Hosoi, I got the strawberry drink, which had a different number in the window menu and.the inside menu. I thought it was super cute with all the different shapes of the gelatin, however the drink was thicker and creamier than I had expected. Not exactly sure what was inside. My husband got the lychee tea with the bursting boba, and that was a little bit bitter to me. It could totally just be me, since I like my drinks sweet. Service was super fast. You might want to go at off peak hours for parking since the lot is small.

Tried out the XL Boba ! Didn't care for them because it's coffee flavor thought it was just regular boba lol but the drink was good. Coming from a non-boba person lol Place was clean and customer service was awesome

Great drinks - never a long wait and convenient as it's centrally located. Try it for a break

So delicious. I think this was the most amazing boba tea I've had in 5 years. Perfect texture and sweetness and tea flavor. We just got the number one. I also got the strawberry one for my 6-year old son but he didn't love all the different textures. I bought the be with taro pudding for my daughter. I had misread the sign and I thought it was taro milk tea.

Ive always seen this place from the street and decided to stop by one night as their open to 9:30 PM daily. The lines were long when I first arrived. 1 cashier and 1 barista (is that what their title is?) behind the counted. Lots of brightly decorated signage in the store. Lots of featured flavors, signature drinks, and promotions for you to choose from. I picked a mango slushie? Also had a brown sugar milk tea. Prices were about five to seven dollars per drink not including extras like toppings, boba, etc. Flavor wise everything was what youd expect. Nothing amazing or worth noting. It was your average boba shop experience to me. Tables, bar stools, and counters for your leisure. About ten stalls available in front of the shop. Metered parking along the street if absolutely needed. Three stars because Im not sure what makes this place extra special? Within a five block radius youd find lots of other tea or boba shops that have higher quality drinks and faster service. Took about 15 minutes for drinks here.

This was our second time here trying out their drinks. PARKING: it's not a big parking lot but I've never seen it packed ever so you should be fine. SERVICE: They do have a self order screen to the side but we just ordered at the register. The workers there are very nice & friend. We decided to come here because of the big jumbo boba. The drinks didn't look like the photo but it was alright. It's says boba balls but it's more like a really jumbo coffee jelly. It says it on the side so watch hahaha. My youngest & fiancé is very picking when it comes to brown sugar milk tea & when I tried it, it doesn't taste good. I don't know how to explain it but it's not like other places we've been going to. My daughter friend tried the strawberry mochi drink & that one actually tasted better than the milk tea sadly. The inside is pretty small too. Just maybe 2 tables & 3-4 chairs at a bar table. My brother got the matcha drink & that one was ok.
