A reasonable restaurant in Waikiki❗I passed by the store during the year-end and New Year holidays last year, but this was my first time entering.The ordering method is similar to Marugame Seimen. In addition to inarizushi, there are also gyudon and curry options for rice. In addition to the classics such as tori tempura and chikuwa tempura, the zucchini tempura also had a Hawaiian feel to it. There is also pork cutlet. I shouldn't compare it to Marugame, but I prefer Marugame's udon and soup. However, I thought the price was low due to its location in Waikiki Shopping Plaza. The photo shows nikutama udon L ($12.95) and ontama upon R ($7.45), tempura chicken thigh ($3.50), and zucchini ($2.50). The soups of these two udon noodles are a little sweet. Maybe it's for Americans. The soup of the kitsune udon that my child ordered was completely different and tasted like soup stock. Tax and tip were required, but I got 10% off with a JCB coupon.

The udon is delicious, but I personally prefer the noodles to have more flavor and texture.If anything, it's similar to standing-up udon at the station, so if you like it, it's your favorite type of udon.Also, I personally like the interior of the store, which has an atmosphere that fully reflects Japanese culture with its tatami mats.

A udon restaurant better than Marukame and good for eating alone! Don't wait too long at Marukame, eat here...it's much more hygienic! The only downside is that it gets too expensive if you just pick up a few fries...

Delicious broth and curry, the hot spring egg goes very well with the Bu broth, Nikutama or Ontama is highly recommended.

Marugame udon is a taste I already know and the line is too long, but I came here because I really wanted to eat udon!The service wasn't that bad as I didn't expect it to be.However, the sauce for dipping the fries ran out, so it didn't come out.I was too tired to talk, so I just ate.The taste wasn't bad, but it would have been better to sprinkle a little bit of frying powder on the udon. The soup was oily and a bit greasy.

This restaurant is located in the Stix Asia Food Hall. I didn’t get the Udon but I got the delicious curry ? rice with Pork katsu. Yum! Great for a fast meal to fill up. I assure you I’m going back for the Udon!Kid-friendliness: Great for families or anyone. Plenty of seating.

Went here while on vacation and so happy that I did. Conveniently located in the STIX Asian food hall. Delicious udon noodles, I got the Nikutama Udon and I really enjoyed it! Husband got the pork katsu curry which was tasty too. Service was fast and they also have self serve tempura. Love the ambiance in the food hall, so many options to choose from. Definitely recommend!

Came here because it was closer than Marugame and reviews said it tasted the same. Well, I disagree. I got the Nikutama and I definitely prefer Marugame's. There was like two onion slices and the meat was really fatty. Portion was also kinda small. It filled me up (but I also had some musubi and shaved ice like an hour beforehand). Service was not good. There were two young guys and a woman working and the guy that helped ring us up clearly did not want to be there. I felt bad for the woman because she was working and the guy just went to go talk to his friends (the only other people there) instead. They only had one serving of udon, so we had to wait for them to make more noodles or something, idk tbh but it felt like they were unprepared. If you absolutely could not wait for marugame but wanted udon, I guess you could try this place out but I would pass on eating there again.
