It’s 1/21/24. We were recommended this restaurant. Your Google profile shows your location being on Nimitz Hwy which obviously is not correct anymore. We are here on vacation. Our Uber driver pulled up the same address and pulled up to the building that is pictured on Google. This is basic marketing blocking and tackling. Whoever is tasked with maintaining this is seriously dropping the ball. I’m sure your food lives up to the recommendation but I guess we’ll never know.

Man, this place isn't what it used to be. It was always on the more expensive side, but it feels even pricy for what you get. Portions are small. Fish wasn't even that great. Service was turtle like. Used to go here every so often. Probably won't be back.

I am so disappointed with the attitude at the hostess stand. A couple in front of us walked out as there was no one there for quite a while. A server greeted us and went to get the hostess. We we 15 minutes early and told we could not be seated until our reservation time. If the restaurant were full I would have no problem with that, but it was more than half empty. We also walked out. This is a shame. I have enjoyed Uncles for the past 12 years, first at Pier 38 and have had some good experiences at Pearlridge, but the last time the service was extremely slow and this time speaks for itself. Mr. Johnson has made a very significant investment in this location, and the food remains very good. It is a shame to see that investment sullied by poor service. I am very understanding of the situation with labor, but this is a much different experience then I see in other restaurants today.

Uncle's used to be the affordable option to Nico's but that has faded a bit and they have made a separate reputation for themselves. They have a good happy hour, which I used to come weekly for but it has been scaled back of recent so I no longer come. Come here for great seafood all around. The water comes with plastic straws, which is unfortunate this day in age. Plenty of parking.

It’s not cheap but it’s SO ONO! We come at lunch for the tuna salad sandwiches, soup and rice. Service is typically friendly and efficient. It’s a highlight of every trip back “home”... :)

Awesome fresh fish restaurant! We had the blackened sashimi salad, New England Seafood chowder Moroccan chicken with cous cous, and calamari steak tonight. Everything was superb. This restaurant is always excellent.

hands down one of the best seafood places in honolulu damn i went 3 times in the 11 days i was there my wife doesn't eat prawns she did there the food was fresh prepared perfect service was out standing i can't wait tell my next trip i will definitely be back to uncles an the chi chi drinks are awesome best hands down

Was there this past Wednesday for dinner w/a cousin and her family from out of town. Let's just say the service SUCKED! First round of drinks and water took 20 minutes! And the restaurant was maybe half full... to order after we got our drinks too another 10 minutes. Appetizers took our entrees took forever. My food was over cooked and had no taste. The serve said on 3 different occasions that she would refill our water and finally we had paid the bill and was sitting talking story and had to remind her for the 4th time that we wanted more water and she finally brought it right b4 we were leaving.... food was ok... you would think it would be better but it's over priced for the quality of food u receive. Don't think we'll ever be back here. Food looked good and so did the servers but looks can be deceiving. Hopefully after they open they step up their game
Unfortunately the seafood did not taste fresh. The grilled fish was rubbery and the scallops tasted old. They had the “old refrigerator “ taste. Maybe because there's been a drop in patrons so the seafood is not turned over fast enough. Last year the seafood was fine.
