This place is good all around. My only gripe is as other reviewers have said: They're pretty skimpy on the meat for the price! I ordered the pho combo meat along with the summer shrimp rolls. While the beef balls were two pieces cut in half but decently-sized, the brisket and raw meat pieces were barely two slices each. As far as the tripe, it was barely a spoonful. With the $3 charge for extra noodles that made my price about $21 for just the pho, the restaurant can do better in the meat area.However, the drip coffee was excellent. Just don't come by later and tell me to pour it into the cup of ice I asked for like you did next time. Clearly, since I ordered this drink that's not even on the menu, I've eaten Vietnamese food and drunk this drink before and know what I want and how/when to do it.The chili paste I also asked for that you had and didn't automatically bring out with the hosin and Sriracha sauces were also excellent.All in all, I would come and eat here again.

I am blown away this place was great! When I go to Vietnamese restaurants I susally order the beef combination pho with no tendon. But this place already had it on the menu without tendon! The flavor is all there with their dishes & they have a special lemongrass dipping sauce. They give with all your orders, so good!!
Ordered Spicy Beef noodles in DoorDash and it was spicy. The spiciest Beef Noodles i ever eaten. Quality of the broth was great and i wish you have options for thinner vermicelli noodles. I would order from you guys again. You're a hidden gem in Kalihi.

Great food! They have a killer beef stew over egg noodles that was so delicious! You also have to try their fried chicken wings appetizer: just the right amount of crunch, with a sweet onion garnish that perfectly complemented the crispy.chicken. I also tried the melon smoothie with boba that was very refreshing. Service was on point, attentive and refilling water when needed and checking how we were doing. Ambience was very plain, but clean and inviting. It's located in a strip mall next door to a liquor store and the lot looks like it gets crowded, but we found a spot relatively quickly for lunch.

We got the Pho Combo, Pho French Dip, and summer roll. The Pho broth was delicious, the meats were average but what was disappointing were the noodles. The noodles were hard and I wish it was a bit softer and with a bit of chewiness to it. If they replaced their noodles this would be one of my top places to get pho because they did great with their broth. The flavor of the pho French dip was really good as well. Loved the grilled onions and other veggies that were in the sandwich, along with the spread they incorporated into the sandwich. Paired very nicely. The summer rolls is what you would expect it to taste.

First time at this Vietnamese restaurant tucked away in kalihi. We ordered the cheese omelette as an appetizer. Chicken /spring roll vermicelli and seafood pho. Love the broth with all the fixings that came with it. Large portions. Couldn't even finish eating it all. Husband enjoyed his meal. The service was great. Patient with is at taking out time ordering and looking through their menu. We will definitely come back again.

A solid 4 stars for having a super nice server and quick service. We landed a bit past lunch time and were super hungry. This little hidden restaurant nested in not a very nice place but the restaurant itself was clean and cozy. I'm super critical with my Vietnamese food so honestly I can only give them a three stars die food quality. As one can see the pho bowl looked unappetizing with very little meat. The broth was very bland though the pho flavor is there. Spicy beef noodle soup is my ultimate favorite so my review will be hash. It is not it for me. Bun Bo hue must have a rich and bold beefy broth with a blend of spicy aroma from lemongrass and spices. Again the broth was very light not much of beef taste. Others might like the light taste but as I mentioned it was not for me. I was expecting pork leg, blood cake, and shank for this dish but there was none. It was a big disappointment. So far, the two dishes we ordered did not impress us. I am hesitant to give this restaurant a second try despite good reviews from fellow Yelpers.

I need to go back to try more dishes and be more complete with my review. I ordered a Spicy Beef Soup that was so delicious and a fried chicken plate to share with my son and his wife at home. I was the only one that liked the spice in the soup. It was very tasty and the chicken wasn't what I was hoping for but it was ok. Husband got shaken beef plate and he said it was ok. So I'm guessing it was good to my standards cause he doesn't care for different cuisines. Place is clean and the girl was really nice. I was impressed that there were so many people eating in there at 9:15.

I had the combination pho, spring rolls and thai tea (for take out). The broth was flavorful but my noodles were overcooked. The spring rolls were served hot and crispy. I loved their thai tea, I could taste the strong brewed tea and it wasn't overly sweet.

Got the spicy sardine noodle soup and it was incredible! The broth was delicious and the little hot sauce they provided to add into the broth was on point ?. The chicken lemongrass vermicelli bowl was also amazing!

I thought the food was good...but I only got the summer rolls. My friend got the pho and it looked delicious, and it seemed like a lot of the other tables bought pho too. I'm going to go back to eat here, but my friend was not impressed and was complaining about the service and food. My opinion was that it seemed busy and the other ppl didn't seem to have any complaints...I want to try the oxtail soup, and a lot of the other dishes regardless of my friend's opinion.
