Had the wagaya garlic ramen, it was excellent. The karaage was crunchy and moist. The gyoza fried mochi was also good. Price on the ramen is OK at 15.

Why 3 stars? The ramen was good, but for the price...I mean the portions was chincy. If you are going to pay for a bowl of ramen at that price, make it worthwhile. I had a share of ramen both here and in Japan. Hands down Japan is the clear winner due to the price and portions, but come on Hawaii peeps. Dis is Hawaii, we local Boys need some larger portions for the price we paying. It's not worth it, I won't be back. I was just in Japan, I had a bowl of ramen for only $2....how you going beat that. That's why I cringe going to ramen places in Hawaii.

You can choose between a light ramen broth that is not overly salty or the spiciness of the ramen. Level 2 spiciness is about the same as Samyang Ramen. The karaage is delicious.

Parking: parking is pretty tight, especially as you try to turn by the where the restaurant actually is. if you have a big car, probably don't use that car to drive here.

Best bowl of ramen I had on Oahu - the tan tan men was light with just a little spice, the noodles were perfect, and the char siu was amazing.

The food is not too heavy, good tasting and the people that work there are friendly. Highly recommended ?
Wagaya is a delightful dining experience from start to finish. The atmosphere exudes warmth and comfort, making it the perfect setting for a casual meal or special occasion. The food is consistently fantastic, with a diverse menu offering something for every palate. But what truly sets Wagaya apart is its impeccable service. The staff is attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable, ensuring that every visit is memorable. Whether you're a regular or a first-time guest, Wagaya never disappoints.
The soup and noodles are matched with local flavors. The noodles have the right soup. The barbecued pork is also quite tender. The portion is huge! The dumplings are pretty good! The clerk is very friendly and enthusiastic. It feels good! There are not many places in the store, so you may need to make a reservation~

First time at Wagaya. Went there for lunch. Had the Garlic Wagaya Ramen. Totally met all my expectations. I heard nothing but great things about this place and they did not disappoint. The parking can get crowded fast. Glad we went when they opened for lunch at 11:30. I highly recommend Wagaya for ramen.

Wagaya is one of the best authentic Japanese ramen joints in Oahu. Tan Tan Ramen is one of the best I had and good depth of flavor the sesame flavor gives it more kick.Gyodashi shoyu ramen was good as well and the gyoza is good. I like the sauce that it comes with. This place had great review status online and authentic Japanese owner from the rising sun. Noodles were al dente and seems made fresh. If noodles are over cooked or can ruin the whole meal texture is important.Overall enjoyed the food here and will be a regular patron.
