Food is delightful. Fresh, flavorful, filling. Staff is friendly and helpful. They work hard to serve everyone and keep tables cleaned. Tables outside by the gardens are our favorite and provide a lovely backdrop to enjoy our food and friends. Get there early to get parking and minimize wait time and in case they run out of something. We each got an acai bowl which was small for $12, but delicious and presented in a cute coconut shell bowl. I also got 1 dozen assorted bakery items and multi-grain bread. All worth the calories!

This is my favorite place to catch up with friends or enjoy some alone time. The atmosphere is tropical and cozy. The scones are so delicious and flavors change seasonally. My other favorite menu items are the breakfast bowl and the burgers! There’s a wide range of seating- a couch by the fire place, a long table for meetings, indoor or outdoor tables. My kids can roam around outside while I enjoy my coffee in the peaceful atmosphere. The staff is friendly and kind. This place is one of Manoa’s best treasures!Kid-friendliness: It’s a laid back atmosphere with plenty of outdoor seating for kids to play. We always walk through the yard after

Great tea and coffee shop up in the Manoa Valley. So peaceful and tranquil. Scones were amazing as well as the coffee. The only area that they need help is on the floor staff. They were not clearing and clean tables. So another eating and drinking next to someone’s old dishes. Other than that the place is amazing and I would definitely return

I visited the Waioli Kitchen and Bake Shop last week to pay respects to my Tutu, Winona. Winona lived at the Salvation Army Girls Home from infancy until adulthood (1926 - 1944) and was trained in the Waioli Tea Room, as it was called then. When the staff found me in awe of a photo of my Tutu displayed within the shop, they went above and beyond to listen to my Tutu's life story and even made sure to add her name to the photo. The interest and respect they extended for my Tutu's life truly touched my soul. Additionally, the shop is immaculate and the food was absolutely delicious (I got the bacon fried rice and a variety of scones). If you are looking for a place that is dedicated to the history of Manoa Valley and it's people, or some ono eats, The Waioli Kitchen and Bake Shop comes highly recommended.

I was very disappointed in my service at Waioli tea room this morning. I went in ordered coffee and $16 breakfast plus tip, i attempted to catch up on some work emails, as it was only me. I brought my computer but the wifi was spotty so I was unable to do so. I finished my food and as i was leaving one of the staff who worked the register told me " i know you are studying here in this corner but you need to leave so that i can serve customers". I said that I understood and was leaving anyway as my food had been cleared. Not sure, but i left feeling hurt/disappointed? If you need to have customers hele on, let them know there is a time limit to enjoying your establishment and don't assume they are studying? I really think this could have been communicated better.

Saturday 10.30am was very busy but the line moved fast and we found a seat without a problem (parking needed some patience though).Coffee was good, and THEY HAVE GLUTEN-FREE brioche made of almond flour that was DELICIOUS: flavors, texture and sweet enough but not excessive. The place itself is beautiful and full of history, their mission is significant and the service was friendly and helpful.Definitely will go again.

This was my second time dining here while on the island. The environment is gorgeous, the staff is so friendly, and the food is delicious. This time, I chose an Apple Turnover and the Chicken Curry Salad in half of Papaya with a hot green tea.The Apple Turnover was light, crispy, and a little tart inside with the right amount of cinnamon. I will guess that it was made with Granny Smith apples because of the tartness. I loved it!The Curry Chicken was seasoned just right, and the papaya was so sweet and ripe! I really enjoyed the combination of flavors.I love watching the little birds walk around and sing in the trees. If you are looking for a relaxing place to dine then tey the Waioli Kitchen . It is wonderful!
