Aged Ribeye is always good but the prime rib always impresses me with how tender and flavorful it is.

I always have a great time at Ya-Ya’s. The food is amazing and the variety on the menu creates plenty of options. It’s a fun atmosphere with a dog friendly outdoor seating area and best of all is the staff; the service at Ya-Ya’s can’t be beat and that’s why I’ll always come back.

Amazing experience! The food and the service was on point! To drink I had the pink Cadillac which tastes great! We started with a wedge salad, crab cakes, shrimp cocktail and the fried rice. Our entrees were the lobster pan roast, prime rib petite filet with taro dinner rolls. We ended the meal with the taro bread pudding and ice cream which paired well together. So I highly recommend getting the 2. All in all 5 ⭐️ meal!

We had a family dinner, celebrating a birthday. Ordered filet mignon and prime ribs plus some side dishes. Everything was cooked to perfection, seasoned well, good portions, delicious. Also had beignets for dessert, yummy ?

The prime rib was the way to go. Big and perfectly seasoned and cooked. The rib-eye was a little salty and the texture was just ok. Expect a little more from a prime grade. The ceviche was good. Nice portion and yummy with the chips. Mushrooms a little salty again but not bad. Guava sorbet was light and refreshing. A little sweet for my taste but I think everyone else will love it. The best thing about the evening was our amazing server and busser. They were very attentive and on top of everything. Will definitely go back.

I ALWAYS have the lobster pan bake. It is full of my favorite seafood and an entire lobster, tail, body, head. Taste is outstanding. They give you all the tools you need but I bring my own scissors, crackers and plastic gloves so nothing keeps me from full enjoyment. The waitress we had was outstanding. Friendly, attentive and respectful.

Bread stale & cold, steak salted when asked for unsalted. Undercooked steak. no butter on baked potato, had to ask for butter, slow, spotty service. Will not return. Needed to ask servers to clear dishes. Waiter disappeared. Sigh...was I expecting too much?

Our service from our waiter could have been better. He forgot our raw oysters, but apparently it was ready for service. He brought it to the table and the ice was almost melted. I had to flag him down for our wine service, since he must have forgot we still had the wine menu when he collected the food menus.

First time here and was pretty impressed! Decor is very modern and ambiance is sharp. Food was really good- appreciate the free scoop of rice for us locals. My only slight step back from perfect was the initial drinks and appetizers took a while. After that everything flowed nicely and we were well attended to. 100% recommend.

Food was delicious, Service was excelent! We had a corner table in the back away from most of the noise which we loved. I do wish it was a little more of a romantic table setting, but seriously still an amazing time and delicious food and we will be returning!

Staff nice but service substandard for how expensive the food was. Was even hard to get water refill. Food was good. Very slow. Main dish came over 60 minutes after ordering. Bar was good. I think I will stick with Ruth Chris/Signature/Mortons or that place next to Liliha Bakery on Nimitz.

Ya-Ya's Chophouse & Seafood - When the craving for Wagyu hits, this is the ultimate destination in Hawaii. They serve up the grand Imperial Cut, which is none other than AUTHENTIC JAPANESE A5 WAGYU. You know, there are plenty of places that toss around the term 'Wagyu,' but it's often just 'American' or 'Australian' or a lower-tier variety. The real deal with Wagyu is the certification, and they proudly display it next to the fridge in the dining room here. This certificate isn't just for show; it's the stamp of legitimacy that separates the true Wagyu experience from the impostors. They even let me inspect the meat before cooking to confirm it was genuine Wagyu and offered to prepare it for sharing. If a Wagyu craving strikes, this is your ultimate destination - no fakes, just the real deal.
