I love Yakitori and hard to find a good place. I used to go there often when I was in Hawaii, because of the great price! And the food was good!Now I took my bf there (we live is Seattle), and he loved it so so much lol. But to me the price was way higher than I remembered, and the tsukune(my favorite) was way too overcooked. Cheese one was so good!We would still go back since he loved it? but I’d ask to make a new one when my tsukune is dried up again

Knowing that this place was going to be budget Yakitori we tempered our expectations. Unfortunately, even so, the taste just wasn't there. The skewers tended to be overcooked and dry and the seasoning was generally bland and required more salt (shio). The staff was very friendly and the vibe was very local. The pricing was also super reasonable, but we wished the food was better.

I called to see if there was a wait. We told them we would be there in about 20 minutes. We showed up and we’re sat in the back of the restaurant right away.No one came to help us or even assist us in getting a beverage. We waited in the back for about 30 minutes. 3 other tables were sat in the back as well and no one came to help them either. We ended up leaving because of cockroaches coming out of the wall. I personally don’t mind but my wife was disturbed, the family of 4 behind us were trying to kill one roach which lead to a bunch coming out. We left the restaurant since no one helped us.5 minutes after we left while waiting for an Uber the other tables who sat in the back also left. Pretty crazy that 4 different groups left? Maybe it was an off night?The prices as advertised online are different as well everything is about $1 more which is understandable given inflation. I really wanted to eat here since it reminded me of all the places in Tokyo unfortunately we were unable to. If I ever go back my wife will make me go alone due to the bug problem

I really like the vibe of this restaurant. It reminds me of some izakaya store in Japanese drama. The staff are friendly and I can feel the good atmosphere to being as a team. Also I really like the fusion dish with Korean soup base plus some pho. This is exactly what I want to eat at the moment. Recommend!

Authentic Japanese yakitori restaurant. The food was very tasty, the ambience transported me back to a typical Japanes yakitori shop and the service was friendly, efficient and warm. The chef came out and personally thanked me for dining. I will return.
