Great place to eat. Friendly service. Great food. Recommend it, the salsa is amazing. Everything is cooked when ordered, which makes it fresh and worth it. Going to be frequent and repeat customer for as long as they are open. For Mexican food, it's the best from someone who comes from the southwest.

Food was decent, and the family seemed really nice, but MOLD. I made the mistake of looking directly up during my meal and couldn't help but notice several clusters of black mold all over the ceiling and airvents... I felt a little worried about my health after noticing the mold after consuming most of the meal. The decor could use a little help too, the creepy dolls on the buffet are very off putting? but not a bad place to go otherwise!

A great dinner at la familia restaurant on hickam Air Force Base. I enjoyed my burrito wet, as did my friends who had a variety of other options. Food was definitely prepared fresh and took a while which was fine because I was in no hurry. I'll be back again soon I especially enjoyed this visit.

My wife and I went in at noon on a weekday, and there was only a group of three also waiting for their order. We were immediately notified that they were out of flour tortillas, which further limited the small menu. The fountain drink machine was down. So only bottled drinks were available. After 30 minutes, we noticed that another table had arrived and been served. After another 10 minutes, our food arrived, but it was the wrong order. The previous table had received our order. We received an order of chips and salsa for our wait. After a total of an hour, we finally received the correct order. The food was fairly tasty, but the other incidents were unacceptable.
Such a amazing food. Especially for a base restaurant. The family that runs it is so, so nice too. Highly recommend if you are on Hickam or Pearl Harbor!

Pleasant surprise! Service was great and food came out very quickly. Salsa, Asada plate, and Ice Cream Taco were tasty.

Called in order. Took an hour instead of stated twenty five minutes. Food was ok, but not great. Sour cream melted before even getting home. Not a lot of flavor but filling I guess. Don't think I will be eating here again, especially at the price point.
