Amazing service.... I think the best of the island! We felt super welcomed. The place is clean and is very popular in the area. The food portions were abundant and well presented. Flavor wise was ok but nothing tasty at all. We will give it another try again since we ordered 5 different dishes and the menu is HUGE.

TL;DR - Amazing new "mainland style" Chinese restaurant here in Maui! Don't get me wrong - I do love the foods of Hawai'i, but I also appreciate different flavors too. Fried rice is one of my all-time favorite dishes. When I moved to Maui years ago, I ordered fried rice and was shocked by the smoky, meaty flavor of the local style. I love it but I also couldn't find the fried rice of my childhood. Today I found it at Maui Lemongrass and I am so excited! Everything we had was excellent - Chicken Chow Mein, Veggie Spring Rolls, fried rice, and Egg Foo Young. We also noticed the family in the booth next to us say "this is like New York Chinese food!" so it wasn't just us who had the feeling of familiarity. I also really appreciated that you could taste the freshness of the cooking and the ingredients. "Mainland style" Chinese might evoke a range of quality from legit restaurants to small takeout places selling fast food delivery. This is the nice restaurant type! This kind of good Chinese restaurant was my grandma's favorite for dining out, if she was still alive and could visit me this would be at the top of the list for places to take her for dinner. If a guy wants to take his grandma there you know it's good! We will be back soon for more delicious food!

This is our go to stop for Asian cuisine. We love their noodle dishes. I've tried a few soups, which were great as well. Kids really like their BBQ pork fried rice. Prices are high, but it's Maui, and everything is expensive. Most importantly, the restaurant is very clean, and the restrooms are inside and don't require a key!

Was in Maui for a business trip and we came here for a quick informal lunch. Our server was very friendly and nice and the place was kept very clean. I ordered a beef and tofu. It was a little bit sweet for my taste, but I still ate every last bit. I chose it with the lo mein which is a nice option to have for the plate. The portions were large too! This is a great local place if you're craving some chinese food.

Since Chinese style roast duck is very limited and expensive on Maui we thought we would order take out from Lemongrass for my BD instead of prepping the 3-day process at home. We selected a menu assortment of: Pan fried dumplings (6) $12 Half roast duck Peking pork spare ribs $22 and Combination crispy fried noodles $27 I made steamed white rice and garlic bok choy to round it off at home since I had an HOA meeting to attend. Had my girlfriend pick up Lemongrass dinner after a busy day. We selected a few featured dishes. Potstickers were plump and seared with thicker wrappers. Pork Filling was seasoned but a little dry. Combination Chow Mein was seasoned, moist, had adequate sauce, a variety of veg and proteins. The really crispy noodles were thoughtfully separated for the Togo order. One suggestion is to provide more noodles, ours was small for the value of the dish and was probably the least expensive product. The fried and tasty Peking Ribs were "almost" boneless so beware of tiny hard bones when diving in. The sweet red sauce was a great contrast to keep the meat moist. Lastly, the chopped roast duck was pricy ($30 half) but well seasoned and rendered of excess fat. It was served with duck sauce that was a bit different than traditional Chinese duck but savory and flavorful.

Two of us ordered the sesame chicken and beef broccoli to share. The food was tasty and brought to us hot. There was easily enough to feed two more people so we took enough home for a second meal. I will be back to enjoy these and other dishes on the menu that look so delicious.

The service was good but the most bland food I've ever tasted in a restaurant. I had shrimp fried rice and the only flavor was that of greese and burning tires. My friend had the unnaturally red and ultra bland sweet and sour pork. We won't be back. I really wanted to like it but so disappointing. I just don't understand why a restaurant would sabotage themselves with bad food.

I have been here for dinner service a few times. This trip however I went for lunch I was in Kahului running some errands and wanted a nice sit down lunch. Then I remembered that Lemongrass has lunch. So I figure hey I'm gonna try it out. When I got there they had people at a few tables but not as busy as the times I have gone for dinner. I must say I really enjoyed my lunch. I had the lo mein, fried rice and general chicken. The portions were very good and the food tasted great. In fact I haven't had one bad dish from them. The dinner menu is good if you have several people because it is family style or if you're really hungry. I like how they have the restaurant decorated. Simple yet nice. My family and I have enjoyed several meals here and I enjoyed my lunch. So I would definetly recommend and it's nice to have a Chinese restaurant. Maui could definetly use a few.

We were looking for a P.F. Chang's and realized it was not one of the island so we tried to find something that would be similar after reading the yelp reviews and looking at pictures, with decided this place. Not disappointed. The food was amazing. The pricing was good and the portions were hefty. You should try this place you would like it.

Menu is not descriptive enough. I'm fairly certain my meal has been a chaffing dish all day.... I don't like buffets. Definitely came here for a sit down meal cooked to order and did not receive that.Overall disappointed.
