First time ever in my 9 years of bartending I heard a bartender say they can’t break $100 bill… Especially at an airport.

They have limited beer on tap, howeve the local Big Swell IPA is my fav, and it was available.Busy spot since it's the only bar in sight this side of the airport. The bartender was alone handling the crowds, but a bit short with all the customers. You have to seat yourself, which is fine, but she didnt like it if you walked up to try and order from the bar. Also didnt like trying to pay/hand over card with the verbal order.Probably bitter from all the pushy tourists.Nevertheless, fast and efficient. Cold beer.

Its self check out on pre-packaged sandwiches. At least thats what it was on my visit. There were 4 sandwiches left. I asked someone working behind the counter if I could order from the menu. I was told all that was available was what was on their refrigerator shelf. 4 pre-packaged sandwiches… Not really into alcohol, but they at least had people at the bar and they looked happy.Nice employees. Awful selection of food.

Permanently closed, it appears. Gotta go to Sammys or you're out of luck before your flight

Posted hours not accurate. Didn't eat before arriving at airport because it said it would be open.

OGG needed this place! Beer, cocktails, nachos, hotdogs, what else do you need? Love Bartender Bo (aka Tammy), the only place to ride a layover in OGG.

We decided to have a drink while waiting for our flight at the Maui airport. The Maui Snack Bar was right near our gate. Our server, Joanne, was very friendly and attentive. The drink prices are a bit pricey but you are in Hawaii at an airport bar, so what else would you expect. They served food on a very limited basis. We were glad to have a place to have a cocktail and kick back before our flight!

This eatery was super close to our gate in the airport, and after multiple layovers we were starving! We were so glad that we found this place right outside of gate 11, as we had 2 hours to kill before our next flight. Standard food: sandwiches, pretzels, refrigerated things to choose from. I got the chicken pesto sandwich and loved it, but I was also eyeballing the pretzel! I'm sure everything would be delicious lol. We also got drinks; I got a cranberry vodka and my bf got a few Jameson-gingers - the drinks were made perfectly :) and the bartender was very friendly. I would definitely eat here again next time I have a layover in this airport.

I went in to order a drink and get a glass of water. Bert Switzerland was the rudest server I have ever encountered. I asked for a glass of water first to which he rudely said that i could not have one. I said why he said we sell water. I responded indicating that I just wanted a glass of tap water and that i was going to order a drink. He said yeah right and said he woUl give me a glass of ice and that he shouldn't even do that. Luckily we have had an amazing time in Hawaii and outside of this one experience our trip has been amazing. Bert Switzerland should be spoken to for how he treats customers. Even people sitting at the bar were surprised given his rude behavior. Customer service should be a priority especially given the location

Dale the bartender was extremely rude and made a derogatory comment regarding inflammatory language when he let underage kids into his bar.

I just had the absolute worst service of my entire life by an old lady named "Joanne" with glasses and grey hair in a pony tail. I sat down, she came up to our table, I gave her my id, asked her for a beer and then stood up again to ask her where an outlet was. She turned to a customer and said "I can't serve this f****** b****** I was born and raised here and fly out of this airport over 4x a year. I will never go sit at that bar and give them my business again after that harassment. You should never ever say that to a customer. She had 4 people at the bar, and it was super mellow. If she's stressed out bartending a bar packed with 4 people then she needs to find another job. Maui snack bar needs to take a look at who they are hiring these days. Everyone needs to go to sammys at Kahului instead. 10x more aloha and good vibes. Hope this place figures it out FAST.
