Mochi donut!!! They are at Sunday market in Kahului. Friendly employees and super fast service. Sunday market is always a fun time, very lively and clean.

I loved the fried chicken with the sauces. Rice was little dry though but the mochi at the end was my favorite. Would highly recommend though.

Their mochi donuts are a favorite among my friends and the rainbow chocolate one is my personal go-to - they also started offering bubble waffles that I've heard other customers rave about. If you catch them at a local event, definitely stop by to try a few (or a dozen)- Miguel Morales Photography

If you are a taro lover, you have to come here! The cascaroon aka carioca is so yummy. They are fried poi balls on a stick with a syrupy glaze on top. This was on my list of things to try, and I'm so glad I finally got to do it. The poi mochi donuts are good too. My daughter got a chocolate rainbow mochi donut, which she seemed to like but I got the passion fruit lilikoi poi mochi donut, and she and I both loved that more than her chocolate rainbow.

The cascaroons were fireeeeeeeee. 100% wished they had these in California. The truck was a bit hard to find so would drop it down to four stars but would definitely come back to get the cascaroon and giving it 5 stars for tasteee.

10/10 no other words needed. The workers and owner are amazing! Crunchy on the outside, soft in the inside.

Pros:Whopping big cone with 2 good sized scoops of ice cream. Pretty ono. Cool as it comes. Friendly service. Cons:Cone is hot so it ice cream melts quickly so it's kinda messy. $14. Good experience but would I need to get this again?.......IDK.

We were lucky to catch them on the side of the road near Kahului harbor. It was a last minute desert plan and since we were only visiting Maui for a day that was definitely a plus. Of course the reason we came was for their poi mochi donuts. We decided to get half a dozen. Each poi mochi donut is $2. We went with the s'mores, choco Oreo, matcha, chocolate, ube and original glaze. A few minutes after ordering and we got our donuts packed in a clear box. We were heading around the island and these were perfect to much on while driving and heading to different spots. The donuts were so soft and enjoyable to eat. Whether you're picking them apart and eating them bite sized or munching away; there's no correct way to eat them! My favorite was probably the s'mores. The marshmallows were soft and chewy. I also enjoyed the choco Oreo and chocolate. I do have a sweet tooth so I may be bias haha! Ultimately, if you haven't tried poi mochi donuts you definitely need to get yourself a few! You can't go wrong with the original glazed. If you got yourself a sweet tooth like myself, s'mores and choco Oreo will satisfy your needs. As some reviews mention, they may not be there so hope for the best when you're visiting!

My children love their fresh mochi donuts with flavors like ube, strawberry cheesecake or Oreo, affordable and delicious. Convenient to Maui Sunday market. Next to keyakiya.

NONOY DA POI CASCARON is a food truck available on the side of the road by Kahului Bay. Make sure you check the schedule because the truck isn't permanently parked there. We caught them on our second try (because this time we checked first!)Out of mochi donuts but still had cascarons. So we ordered those which were awesome! Crunchy melted sugar on the outside and chewy on the inside.Unfortunately, there's a minimum purchase for credit card purchases so we bought crispy pata (deep fried pig's leg) and it was so crispy and so delicious. So maybe what I should have said was "fortunately".

After passing it on Beach Road many times, I finally made it to these instagram worthy donuts! A very focused menu consisting of cascaron, poi mochi donuts & soft drinks. The poi mochi donuts are $2 each or $20/dozen. I went with 6, ube, matcha, chocolate, chocolate oreo, strawberry shortcake, blueberry. Texture was good & some flavors were more prominent then others. My favorites were the oreo & matcha. Another good donut option on the island. Have not tried the cascaron, but I'll have to go back to try the other flavors. Owner was also very friendly.

Came here for the first time a few weeks ago and tried out a variety of their donuts. They are usually located near Kahului Harbor and can be found at other markets around the island at times. They have a small menu of poi mochi donuts, cascaron, and soft drinks. You can get one mochi donut or a stick of cascaron for $2 OR a dozen donuts for $20 or 3 sticks of cascaron for $5. Not too bad really! For the mochi donuts, you can pick from 7 toppings: strawberry shortcake, original glazed, blueberry, chocolate, matcha, oreo, & ube. I've tried them all and my favorites are the oreo, blueberry, and matcha; mainly because the flavors are more prominent for these. I did enjoy the strawberry shortcake and the ube as well, but wish the flavors stood out more. I'd probably coat the whole donut in their glaze to make it even better! Haha.In any case, I'm happy Maui has another mochi donut option. It's nice to bring to get togethers and it fills the void until my next trip to Oahu (where my favorite mochi donut place is)! The cascaron is also pretty good; pretty much the same as how my family makes it. Check them out!
